      Using the Bluetooth connection to an Android phone will give you most of the functionality minus Nav unless you have Harley's activated. Just need to get the radio bug fixed. For me during a normal commuting week I just use bluetooth for my phone.

    That BT bug has been driving me crazy. Every single time my phone gets pinged with anything, my IFCU jumps over to BT audio and I have to manually switch it over every time... So glad to hear they are working on a fix. Thanks for all the great info, I'll be doing that vent modification soon.👍

    Great videos. I appreciate the "enthusiast" disclaimers you put in these. I purchased the AI Magic Box from your link. As you pointed out, it's not perfect, some steering wheel controls / buttons do not work like "play" / "pause" however the Android 10 box is a good solution. Thanks for your research on this! I am using this on a 2024 Street Glide. I installed a small USB charging port in my right hand saddle bag, powered from the trickle charging port. This gives me fuse protection and a quick disconnect when pulling the bag off. My Bluetooth "headset" is powered and stored here as well as having a second port for charging my phone. This leaves the magic box in the front storage tray by itself, leaving the tray clutter free. I also carry a small tire plug kit and 12 vdc tire inflater that can be powered from the trickle charging plug as well.

    my boom gts which I have my phone connected for text messages. if I'm listening to music and I get a phone call my music stops and it says on the screen accept or cancel, I cancel as I don't have a microphone , its the same if I have a text, if I click listen when moving then music will stop and the text will be spoken.
    Does the new skyline OS have the capability to send an auto text message ? If Im riding and someone texts me, I can listen to it or read it if stopped, also my bike sends a automated text saying 'Sorry Im out riding, I will respond later' , this message is completely customisable, didn't know if the new system had it

    • @ITFZone
      @ITFZone  Před 24 dny

      HD does offer the BoomBox GTS as an upgrade kit, you should double check but it should work on most 14-18 touring models with the purchase of a seperate USB connector. I do not know if it comes with CP/AA or if they can even be installed, you should see if your dealer could verify this for you.

      Pour utiliser les données GPX de l'application Google Maps Android, vous pouvez suivre ces étapes :
      -Ouvrez l'application Google Maps sur votre appareil Android.
      -Recherchez l'emplacement que vous souhaitez enregistrer en tant que fichier GPX.
      -Appuyez longuement sur la carte à l'endroit que vous souhaitez enregistrer. Une épingle rouge apparaîtra.
      -Appuyez sur l'épingle rouge pour afficher les détails de l'emplacement.
