Got this one a month ago. I'm a heavier gal and after a short learning period I have no problem with it. It does struggle a bit on long upslopes, but on level ground it gets at least 18mph. The brakes are a bit anemic. Don't expect to stop on a dime, and it is a hefty thing to manhandle on and off public transportation, but if you're around 270 lbs like me and want a solid deck and decent power in a beginner scooter..... well, I'm happy so far.
Sounds great! I'm thinking of buying this to commute for work. Do you think it's a good idea? Have you had any problems with flats?

@@gustavocruz3837 Currently my front tire is flat because I've ridden it on some very bumpy, broken up pavement, but, in the process of changing tubes. Be smarter than me. Be careful where you ride and put Slime in the tubes BEFORE you ride a lot.
Are they brushless ?

Took it for a stroll today but I just got it today. First ride immediately got a e2 when trying to hit a small hill. Hoping a charge will fix this error code. What is e2?
What wire do I need to remove the restriction
Mine is ok but only get 6 mile range instructions says no pansenger u for got to put the brakes plastic pad in on back.

Yeah, I hope you enjoy its a really solid offroad scooter. Great for dirt roads or beaches or any terrain cause of huge tires

Honestly I did a but it was just the price was the breaker for me. I bought a segway ninebit max only 850 its been lit 30 mph only weighs 50 PDS and 40 mile range. For professional I would dualtron about 1200 for mini
How do I connect the scooter to the app?
Bug? you can bypass the kick start function, after putting it cruise control and braking to a complete stop. Momentarily, you can start the motor again without kick starting it.
Lots of issues with this scooter. On mine, the box says 18 miles distance with the 30 cell battery which is not close to true. The neck does not lock as it is not straight and the pump for the tires does not fit.... It is not the grass the battery is weak. Brakes are poor, headlight is blocked by the brake cable....
Yeah I loved this scooter. It was fast and I rode it on the beach. Just those screws always came loose and my front clip broke separating the bottom and the handle to the scooter

@@coconutlarry well I used it and loctite defeats the point of folding the scooter. Also, I didn't like the way I had to find out the clip was bad. Unless you want to test ride stuff like that?
Thanks for the review, picked up one at Best buy. 1 month in and my rear tire tube went out. Would you know where I can purchase solid tire replacement. Finding it online has been a hunt. Thanks!

How To Turn On LED Light
I just bought a gotrax gxl v2. It claims 15.5mph but it's actually just 12-13mph max. Is your H1-alpha the actual speed or does it just claim 18.6mph? i'm considering purchasing an H1-alpha if the speed does claim to it's actual speed.

On the box it says it can go 18mph but I’m pretty sure it goes around 20 mph however the display can only display 18mph max. Also I appreciate your support.

I definitely think the majority of scooters are made in China. What kind of problems were you getting?
@@jaytcapinpin Bluetooth speakers kept messing up, some lost speed after a day or so and only wen 4/5 mph while in sport mode, missing bolts, just don’t seem to be any quality control checks, recieved another replacment today Pearl White Version. Wish me luck lol!! But the main problem was the speed!!! So annoying!!

I Have A Red Hover 1 Alpha
i bought this unit on best buy. i used it for 3 months. time came to change tires and inner tires. THEY DONT HAVE ANy REPLACEMENT TIRES. the customer service told me to buy 10.2 waited for 1 week and it wont FIT. Guys next time if you want to buy something make sure that the unit you bought has a replacement tires available or any important parts that you would change soon
Do you have an update on your scooter? Were you able to get new tires? I'm buying the hover 1 gambit at best buy because it has solid wheels and I don't want the hassle of changing it all the time.
@@MarkDanger777 i kept on changing the inner tires its my 3 time now. at this day it got a hole again. i still couldn't find a way or where to buy a 60/70 6.5 tires to replace it. i kept on searching in google but all the options they gave me is oversize (which i tried and it wont fit). what a sad experience

@@MarkDanger777 honestly for me it was so easy I went to a bike company that I know fixes bikes. They changed my tire for 10 bucks. Same with alpha fat tires
@@michaelnelson7933 I ended up getting a hover 1 gambit with solid wheels. It was good until 3 months later it just stopped being able to charged out of nowhere
Bro why you riding with 290lbs if the max is 264lbs? Isnt that kind of dangerous? I thought about doing that with my girl but didnt want to push it.
It's more than possible to destroy the clip that holds the handlebars up doing that, dependent on how quick you're going

It's a fun scooter but the battery life sucks. Lasts 30 minutes at most and if it doesn't have full battery then on sport mode it goes maybe 16
WARNING BEFORE YOU BUY: None if these CZcamsrs mention the loud shrill beeping noise that it will constantly make anytime you go over a bump. It makes a loud shrill beeping sound that can be heard a block away anytime you go over a bump or half the time even on flat ground
How long does it last?
It’s a terrible scooter. Very dangerous. Because the handle bars are loose the brakes stopped short and my grandson went flying on it. He flipped! Thank God he is ok. I have 2 sitting in my shed. One is locked bc of the brakes. I’m stuck with them. Don’t trust Hoover
