here is a trick for u bro take out the food bowls for 1 or 2 hr and then show them food or something they will eat or like to eat and u got a bird to corporate with u just give him millets Or the usual food for every progress they make

So I got 2 budgies from petco and rhey had clipped wings so I let them grow out and one can fly well but my other one can only jump and flutter down. Is there anyway to help her fly?

Beautiful, my parakeet flies around then back to me everytime when i toss him up or forward but im nervous to try it outside
We have had our young budgie for a month now but wrestles and bites my fingers when on hand
I teached this trick my little boy ^^ I got him when he was a few months old, it was pretty easy
but I couldn't teach it to my girl because I got her from her former owner, where she could not get out of the cage and they only grabbed her, she didn't even know how to step on my finger!
But after hand-feeding and training she jumps on my finger when I reach my hand out to her :>

It shouldn't be too difficult. My budgie (~7 years old now) is very attached to me, but we haven't really learned him tricks. Compared to my previous one he's a slow learner. That one could say some words after only 2 weeks. My current budgie took months to start saying a simple word in a whistle-ly way and weeks more to say it more human-like. Though for endive or dandelion leaves (yes they can have them, and are actually pretty tasty. Like lettuce but with a kind of savoury taste to it) he'd do anything so to speak.

I never tough my bird to fly to me but I assume that it has to do when I took him out his next box and since he playful he love fly to me to play with my finger

I also used to have a budgie named lemon do This but he forgot and also he died is daughter and friends and the whole flock were heart broken .But anyways thank you this information was very helpful cause now I can teach my other birds to do this thank you .

Does it work for finches
My budiges do step up to me but if I place it at a distance they just stretch out and come on but if it’s too far away they don’t come at all. Is there a way to train them to not do that?

This is off topic but what do you do if your bird won't eat anything other than seeds (keep in mind we got him from a bad home,he was over crowded not enough food and water with no toys.)
I will link a video that might help you, but you should know that there are some birds that no matter what you'll do, they won't eat veggies, so you can offer safe herbs instead, as most birds love to nibble on wet leaves.

Distance is depends on hunger :D. I can usually can do step up but when he was really hungry he flies across the room

I dont feed them any seed mix. Is that ok?
its advised not to give them a lot of millet as millet is mostly fat if you carry on doing this their lifespan could be halfed. This could also lead to health issues

I have one of my bird’s trust, but he is in the same cage with my other bird. He is not yet tamed, so I can’t tame him with the other bird and I can’t separate them because neither of them are tamed. Any advice on how to separate them from one another so I can tame them?
What I can suggest is to buy a cheap small cage and tame one of your budgies inside.

Hello, recently my budgie had laid 7 eggs and this morning i saw that the budgies threw all of the eggs out of its nest and a month ago it laid 4 eggs and 3 of the didn't hatched and 1 hatched only but it died after 3 days cus the budgies weren’t feeding it well idk why they are acting really weird i never distributed it,
can you plz tell me why they are acting like this and what to do? My mom is really worried about them acting like this
