As a lifelong Birmingham City fan thats embarrassing to hear... But knowing what a circus the clubs been for the last decade not surprising. Sorry to hear Stocks went through that and no grudges or ill feeling held here.

What a fantastic guy, it shows how people can be perceived incorrectly based on the rumours and gossip in football. Incredibly down to earth and balanced bloke who wanted to succeed. The treatment at Birmingham was appalling but we know as fans things happen behind closed doors. Good luck at Wednesday and a good couple of years left in your career

The whole Birmingham scenario is shocking but it seems to happen at every club sooner or later. Few years ago, Kieran Westwood (arguably best keeper in the Championship at the time) was dropped and made to train with Sheff Wed U23s. Guess who was manager? Yep, Gary Monk.

Don’t think monk was the issue tbf. Was sacked by the same board when we was doing as good as blues could be.

I always wondered why David left Brighton after getting promoted and reaching the Premier league and being the established no 1 to then drop down a division with Birmingham,i thought it a very strange decision but it all makes sense now with him stating they were only offering a 1 year deal,glad hes back with a big club as saw him play recently at the Bolton match which Wednesday won 2-0.

Just catching up with all these podcasts and the more I listen to them the more it comes to light what a f**ked up club Birmingham City was. - maybe still is? No wonder Bellingham got as far away as he could, pretty sharpish. Stocks seems like a nice lad but sometimes you have to be an arsehole to get out of those situations.

Comment makes no sense 😂 stocks treated awful but Jude could’ve left when he was 13 onwards for a tribunal fee. Instead signed a contract so his team got a fee for him. One season in that league and proved he was far too good anyway
All the stuff about Dong mistreating him is interesting to learn
But the fact is he still gained 2 stone whilst being paid 40k a week to be a professional athlete (whilst the club was in a relegation battle)

So Birmingham offered him a 3 year 40k a week deal and it was same money as the one year offered by Brighton? Just say you went to Blues as they gave you a huge contract you couldn't turn down. It's fine.
