Yeah no thanks. I had a black mercury marauder. Never again. It looks the best when its clean but the hardest to keep clean. Shows every little thing. I've got a "gotta have it green" mustang now and it so much more forgiving. As someone who loves detailing... I hate owning a black car.

I like that too... the behind the scenes experience.
I was a service manager at a couple of motorcycle dealerships and I always had my top techs uncrate the new or revised units so that they could get a better understanding of the changes to them. I did this so that once these new units come in for service work they are already familiar with the bike.
As for the GT500 I cannot wait till my girlfriend gets her 2020, should look quite nice next to her 67 GT500. Yes she loves her Shelby's.

Most of, if not all the states, and many countries around the world, have some form of the “keep right except to pass” law. In other countries where they drive on the left side of the road it's the opposite, “keep left except to pass”
Just got my GT500 this past Saturday, and it is beyond what I was expecting.
What i love is the presents you get after you buy it and start opening the doors and trunk

@@griffonklassen4328 hell yeah same here. I am in no way a Ford guy, I'm die hard Chevy, but I do appreciate good craftsmanship and styling. I have owned and still do own many chevys, but my main car atm is a 2016 mustang GT. While I don't agree with everything Ford has done to it (namely the weak transmission and the glitchy, problematic sync 3 system), but I can definitely appreciate the car. It is by far my favorite car as of now. It might change once I get my Chevelle built though.

You get the catch can as part of a handling package because its necessary. a handling package will put more G capability into the car, and people are gonna wear it out. A side effect is slinging oil, especially around the PCV. Its not extra, its part of the deal.

That is awesome that they include the catch can. I ordered catch can for my Focus ST and drove straight home after delivery and installed it with 3 miles on it to try as much as possible to keep the intake valves clean. Love the pictures by the Arkansas sign. The car looks amazing!

Your oil catch can was designed by ford performance to be maintenance free. It automatically re directs the oil it catches back into the oil pan. You do not have to take it apart to manually drain it yourself
Correct, The Ford Performance documentation actually provides the removal steps for cleaning (If necessary) so our Senior Master Tech was helping by showing how to do so if necessary. He never stated it was necessary and you are correct it drains back into the RH coil cover of the engine.

Rain mode is going to keep you from crashing and sliding off the road. What it does is once it picks up any type of wheel spin it cuts power to that tire so the tire can hook.. make sure you use that in the rain all the time especially if you're running drag radials which I'm sure you are because without that you would slide right off the road. Be really careful on your turns

wrong, all new ford vehicles have some features disabled(such as remote start) when it is still in transport mode. They disable that mode during the Pre Delivery Inspection.

Excellent video. Do have a question though: Why did Ford make a large opening for the upper grill but the air access to the engine bay (from the upper grill) is smaller. Seems like the opening would coincide with the size of the air opening.

Wow, that Ford Performance Oil Catch Can is crazy! Not very intuitive, JLT's is SOOO much better and easier to empty out. Hopefully they release a version for this model too. They make it so much easier to install/remove and empty. I do think it's pretty cool they included an oil catch can on this beast though. Props to those Ford techs, they got some good mechanics there. Also, pretty cool they let you film the install, some dealers don't like customers hang in there for safety purposes.
Awesome that Ford included the oil catch cans with ur GT500, although was with an option package. They should have been included them as well on the GT350 somehow, but NO !!! I had to buy and install myself 🤨.

To any mustang owners: How is the reliability? My friend's roommate had his die around 50K so naturally my friend thinks they all die like that.
Replacing a clutch or trans is not the end of the world but it sucks for sure. I had to do both. Just wondering if I should buy a little 2017 Ecoboost. They actually perform better than the base V6.
