lua lomu I have been independent since age 18, worked and studied at the same time, and I graduated from one of the top world universities with PhD in criminal law. i would not say it, only because you asked. but I don't talk about my achievements. unlike snoop I never used drugs and never lived "that" life..... so to each it's own. you ARE VERY MATERIALISTIC . IT'S NOT ALL ABOUT WHAT YOU OWN . SOUL MATTERS TOO 😊 I just don't find snoop competent to talk about every subject .you can disagree but you do not have to use offensive phrases whilst doing so.😊 I was born as a very poor Puertorican American girl whose dad died serving in the military forces when I was very very young. that's when I took responsibility to take care of my mother who worked two jobs.see now she doesn't have to work anymore. I got an amazing husband and puertorican-black children and we are doing very well as proud citizens of the USA . sadly I never had rich family to even pay for my college .i had schollarship as i was a food student and aimed for success. I come from the bottom but I am living very well after studying for 8 years to get a licence to practise law. currently working for UN and my family is finally living good life. We know how snoop lived his young age and all illegal things he has done...we also know in the last few years he was seeking attention by featuring songs and artists in the sing like "wiggle"...thste the same man you are watching here...that is why he can't be considered as an example of a good American or example to anyone. maybe to you and to those who are all about owning football teams and record labels. what have you done and achieved please?😊 I achieved happiness and family unity .which is more worthy than any wealth you named In your comment 😊 you sound like need a job.if you need help I can pull some strings . because the way you speak tells me you lack education and perhaps proper perspective on life. God bless

What Snoop is talking about is REAL. OPEN YOUR EYES!
Why when we talk about Colin Kaepernick, we talk about what he wants us to take about, him playing in the NFL.
Why aren't we talking about the protest, rallies, marches Kaepernick's never conducted nor been a part of?
Okay, he shouldn't have to do that because he donated money to some organizations. But why not vigorously speak to local, up to national officials. Where are the meetings with city council members, Senators, either of the President (Obana or Trump), Governors, Mayors, Chiefs of Law enforcement, etc? Where are they?
Why is HE hiding behind a retweet, when he DID NOT KNEEL against police brutality. He knelt because a White man, Nate Boyer (Ex-military and Ex-NFL player), told Kaepernick to kneel TO RESPECT THE MILITARY.
Remember, Kaepernick was sitting, pouting on the sideline because he wasn't used in the Preseason.
For someone to have been analogized to MLK, Rosa Parks, and Malcolm X, I don't see the real follow through like we saw in those heroes (and heroines).
We should be talking about police brutality, George Floyd, Ahmand Aubery and etc, not Fraudpernick.

First of all Ali was "The greatest" & a real champion.
Second of all, he was CONSISTENT with what he spoke about.
Third, Boxing is NOT a team sport.

The problem with the protest is not the offensiveness of it but the futility of it. America's due process has this awful awful thing, it's called presumption of innocence. If you're in a progressive country like Turkey or Russia or China you won't have to worry about that. "Police officers are getting away with paid leave." Yes, in fact if you have not been convicted of a crime you should not be punished for a crime.
That's my problem with the message these people send. They claim to be wanting equal access to due process. What they're actually asking for is for due process to be waived for other people.
The standard of "beyond reasonable doubt" is a high one bar to reach. Hung juries throw out around 12% of cases. There's fruit of the poisonous tree situations, illegal search and seizure, Miranda Rights, submission technicalities, many cases that go to trial can't meet reasonable doubt.
That's the way the system should work. Sir William Blackstone's formulation, "better let 10 guilty men go than one innocent man suffer." Not every guilty man will be convicted. Justice for all is impossible, no law can be written so well that there are no possible false negatives or false positives. The best any society can hope for is to convict as few false positives as possible. This is the foundation of our judicial system. Lowering the level of scrutiny and prematurely delivering punitive consequence on those not yet found guilty undermines our judicial system, and the entire premise upon which western justice is predicated.
This is not to say there are not real problems with the system, such as a lack of public defenders and a lack of quality ones among them. However, if Kaepernick's hope is that policemen will be (Trump voice) "YOU'RE FIRED!!" from their jobs the moment allegations arise against them, and be convicted by any level of scrutiny other than beyond reasonable doubt he is doing this all in vain, or at the very least I hope so.
Again, if he wishes for countries where you can deny due process to others, Uganda, Zimbabwe, Uzbekistan, Saudi Arabia, great places to start.

Should people in the entertainment field only entertain and not speak about social change? I think a person has the capacity to be both. they're bringing on a lot of people with different perspectives on this issue, but they're all different perspectives are just different nuances in favor of the same size. I wish that in the months of this getting talked about they'd just bring on ONE guy who has the balls to say "the actual facts, contradict the narrative that Kaep is trying to push"

      en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Argumentum_ad_lapidem
You're lucky that I'm giving you the time of day so that you can learn something and maybe not embarrass yourself the next time you have to talk to a grown up. If you do learn something then you'll never admit that you have, You'll just prattle on until I give you the last word, but hopefully that's just for show.

***** if the facts were painting the picture that you want them to paint, then you'd be shoving them in everyone's face. Is it really so obvious that the facts are against you, that all you can do is just try to discredit facts, because "they don't exist in a vacuum"

the fact that police have harmed white people too does not mean that police haven't harmed black people without having to face repercussions, but it demonstrates that this isn't a racial issue because it's not affecting white people at less of a rate when looking at the per cap of police encounters. Can you name ONE white person who has been needlessly killed by the cops. It's undoubtedly happened over the years since this BLM thing got traction, but a city hasn't been destroyed over it yet

Snoop's point of view is simply that. Apparently Snoop can't handle the truth, that Colin can do both: Be who he is and say what he means.
Snoop, dude... Colin doesn't need to be told how to be, nor has he suggested he has answers. He has clearly demonstrated he has concerns regarding the status quo.
You seem to have your career as well as an opinion about Kaepernick, which you've so eloquently demonstrated here. Your choice is to do both. I get it. I like it.
Obviously Colin has chosen to do both: Play ball, and take a stance of importance to him. Snoop, did you actually think he doesn't understand? I stand with him.

Yup. And people forget people left Cuba because the island was 'banned' from trade by the US and Europe.... People love islands but just as Venezuela today, when Europeans can't have their way, they do some wild stuff.. and people don't have food nor other imported, basic necesities.... Politics aren't just as simple as "one man saying XYZ". The islands are WAY SAFER and less violent than US states.
