I never understand why we do the mining and stuff ourselves in this types of games, like I'm the Pathfinder, can't I just get some random guy from the tempest to mine for me? It's like making the general of an army to go and make the military's guns
That is why they invented CheatEngine so you don't need to mine or gather resources in games like these.

Driving the Nomad when I got to play Mass Effect Andromeda was a lot of fun. Drives beautifully and the scenery is amazing.

There was quite a lot in this video actually, we got to see a little of how the forward stations work, how mining works, what the map looks like, how the nomad can switch between 4 wheel drive and 6 wheel drive for certain benefits and a small look at this planet. All in all pretty solid.
TheStomptrooper we also got a look at upgrades and what things can be upgraded. Quite a lot of customization it seems!
so after ive made the nomad upgrades, how do i equip them? my nomad isnt showing mod slots

when you place a mining drine how can you tell what you got from it, soery confused on how it all works.

Well, that is my opinion. Nothing more, nothing less. Personally, I really like that wasteland style and the red plants and trees. As I said, I want to explore that planet. ;)

for people that can't seem to understand this, yes, the game coming out by the same company that made Inquisition (probably began development around the same time) thats using the same engine will have a similar map and Style of map markers.

Basically the Mako 2.0, good to know. Like that was interesting aspect that never got old anytime soon and didn't go all over the place with it's traction.

So they have combined ME1 and ME2 mineral collection methods? Why? I didn't mind driving the Mako around for missions but really hated it for having to find things.
How does a krogan fit inside the nomad?
When I flip it over that rock, will it take damage and explode?

If only the Horse from DA: Inquisition had the ability to call down drones to farm Elfroot, maybe i would of ridden the damn thing

I hope there's an in-game explanation for that forward station dingie, what exactly it does that your omni-tool couldn't do and how it protects from hazards given that canonically mass effect technology doesn't protect against radiation.

It's a tiny detail, but I love how their armour is getting dusty. It's little things like that which really add to the immersion.

Can someone please explain if they're playing this on PC or Xbox. The previous Mass Effects didn't have controller support on PC and the Xbox one surely can't push out a solid 60fps so this has to be on PC. This is on Frostbite engine so I would assume it has controller support.

Reminds me of driving around in the Mako from ME1 and the probing from ME2. No idea why but I am really looking forward for this game

Remember this mob gave that Zelda game a perfect score largely on the basis that you could “exploooore” & climb shit. Well in this game you can do that too plus a butt ton more. Not to mention you must have cataracts if you can’t tell how vastly better they even made a desert look over 50 shades of green pixels.

Need For Speed Team worked on the Nomad's driving controls so that is already a huge plus and a sign that they learned from ME1 which had horrible controls

The nomad is basically the Mako... The Mako being the ultimate edition and the Nomad constantly Needing some kind of DLC (Upgrades) to make it functional.
THE TIRE MARKS, THE DUST, THE DIRT. SO BEAUTIFUL.

I am happy, that i can get a higher Fov (Field of View) on PC, the Camera is too close on the Player&Nomad.
The Map UI looks the same as the Inquisition UI! The terrain too. Copy - paste in the same engine Bioware? Easy money?

Which is why, on subsequent playthroughs of ME1/ME2/ME3, I used a savegame editor to bump my mining resources up to avoid the grind
