Now, that's the correct way to fly a gas turbine.
    Very professional approach... I'm impressed

If it takes that many to fly one plane then I think I would stick to boats. HOWEVER - beautiful model and flown well. I am envious to say the least.

They do not give those away, rich boys toys for sure. The words foamy are swear words to these guys. Balsa is also an insult. They are usually a snotty bunch that refuse to associate with other RC modellers when the truth is, they started out like us. Sad really.

It sounds like you have had a negative experience and I am sorry for that. I fly jets but I also fly electric foamy's. There are no snobs where I fly. Your comments might cause someone who is interested to change their minds and not pursue it further. That can really hurt the hobby. I encourage any interested in pursuing RC models and jets to look for a club near them. It can be a fun and enriching experience.

rpellicciotti I have seen it on XJet,RC Model reviews, the jet boys do not even associate with the others. I have also experienced simular attitude at my local club. I am not saying ALL clubs have different levels of people and planes. I can say the club here when I was first interested wouldnt allow a foam plane on the field. If it wasnt Balsa, you were not welcome. It turned into a good ole boys club and people left. Eventually, the good ole boys passed on one by one and due to a loss of membership, the local flying field was sold, only to be redonated to a whole new group that realized flying was flying, doesnt matter what. Happily, membership numbers are up and foamys, drones, helicopters of all types are allowed now. I have heard other clubs experienced the same downfall as ours. Eventually, young blood with better thinking is taking over at those fields. I myself plan on joining the local club this year.
