Thank you for filming these videos for us. I see you usually film in the morning. I wonder how the Gotrax GX1 performs in the evening. I get home late and am thinking about using this scooter for my daily commute. Do you have any tips for riding it at night?
I'm filming around 4pm here, so closer to evening than you might think! The GX1 has good lighting in my opinion; a strong headlight that is partially adjustable, illumination on the neck and the bottom sides of the board, and a brake light on the back. My only tip, or at least my experience has been, that I use the bell a lot more at night to help people notice me as I go to pass. I'll eventually get around to filming some night rides, it's just been really cold up until recently lol
@@lurkchannel Thank you for the tip. I might have to upgrade my bell if I use it as much as night. Most of my evening rides are from a train to my home about 3 miles away.

Full face helmet and motorcycle gloves at a minimum I would strongly suggest
Recently ordered a full face helmet while I try to find a good dirt path to ride on. Still looking into other gear though

What's the most range youve gotten out of the gx1 so far?
I still need to see just how far I can push the GX1 witht he right combination of settings. I did test it going as fast as it can go from full battery to quit in this video czcams.com/video/EBieK4Shn_s/video.html

Do you always have to go fast is there levels of how fast you can go
No you can definitely go slower. There are three gears you can switch from, M D and S. I know S is sports mode as its what I usually use and goes the max speed. The others I believe limit to 15 and 20 mph? Then there is a power mode which you can activate on any gear for added traction.
