I was the voice actor for Charlie Brown in this game, Snoopy vs. the Red Baron. Unfortunately, there was some sort of error at the studio, all of the actors were supposed to get copies but it didn’t happen for some reason.
As a result, I, one of its creators, never actually got to play the game.
However, just today I ordered a used PS2 and a copy of the game. It may have taken 12 years but I will finally get to play it!
EDIT: I had a comment on the cutscene video where I talked about it more in-depth, but the video got COPPA'd. God I hate that ruling. Anyway, I said that I remember recording some trial lines that didn't get into the final game. There was a deleted cutscene, storyboarded but not animated, where Charlie Brown finds himself in prison and laments his state. He says something about never seeing his family again, and, "I'll never get to eat turkey on Thanksgiving, I'll never see the little Red-Headed Girl again!" The last line was particularly melodramatic, I wish it had made it in.

the nostalgia of this is so good. i played this game on pc and it was one of the most fondest memories i had in my childhood. i absolutely love the game and all the levels and game physics. will definitely play it again one day .

So much nostalgia! I feel like this game has a great balance between goofiness, seriousness and mechanical depth. I especially love the art design for the characters like Lucy!
yknow it never occured to me before but the Sopwith Camel never entered British service until 1917, and Snoopy has always been portrayed as flying that plane, does that mean that 'canonically' Snoopy's WWI flying ace stories always happen in the last year of the war?
Nah i think it’s intentionally anachronistic. The machine gun that Woodstock uses on his glider wasn’t invented until 1921.
The reason why Snoopy flies a Sopwith Camel was because it was what Captain Roy Brown flew when he reportedly shot down the Red Baron (even though historians now agree that he was shot down by ground fire.)

Honestly the designs of the vehicles in this game were amazing! Love the mix of dieselpunk and classical world war esq designs.
Dude same the German drones are my favorite so far I’m gonna watch the play through and see what else there is.

They should have a remake trilogy with this game and Snoopy Flying Ace but it might be impossible due to licensing issues.

I used to play the game on the PSP as a kid, and I remember that you can pilot Snoopy's doghouse in other modes.
I loved this game so much and would spend hours playing on the dogfight mode or replaying my favourite missions and boss fights! The OST brings back so much nostalgia ❤️

aw man, such a nostalgia. used to play the dogfight mode as a "training" method so i don't suck so badly in the campaign mode 🤣 verdon gorge is my favorite world. finally got it on my pc, can't wait to beat the game.

I remember taking a long time to complete the first mission since I didn't know that you were supposed to escape the Red Baron at the end.
I kept trying to fight him without realizing I had to retreat to progress in the game.

Damn, never realized how potentially pretty Areodrome would be with improved graphics as a kid playing on PS2, I just assumed everything was supposed to be that way
EDIT : nevermind i'm recalling the PSP version I also played (emulated recently on mobile and got 100% for the first time) which for obvious reasons has play-dough graphics

I desperately need to get my PS2 working again so I can play this delightful game once more. I have a lot to look into and I may even have to replace the disc. Lots of scratches and a botched disc cleaning have left me with a weird speck that won't come off... I did my best to save both disc and console and now I don't think either is in working condition...
