She took a career detour to become a potter!

It was while attending pottery competitions as a child that Anne Chambers knew pottery was the medium for her. She remembers being "spellbound" watching the competing potters, who would sometimes let her play with scraps.
"I would just love to manipulate the clay, make little flowerpots with it and bring them home with me," she tells filmmaker Jorden Lee. "It just stayed with me forever."
It took some time for her to find her way back to it though. After spending years as a school teacher, she was looking for a career change. So when her husband asked her what she'd like to do, she knew the answer: "Be a potter."
