It's so disheartening hearing anyone (on either side) rooting for a particular politician and excusing all of their bad decisions or opinions simply because they bat for your team.
And to be clear, I understand that someone may have to vote for a candidate they aren't totally excited for because of who's on the ballot. I'm not talking about them necessarily. Biden lost me but given the alternative option I may just have to give him my vote unfortunately. I'm particularly upset with those who support candidates dogmatically, who let their party leaders dictate their opinions. The murder of Laken Riley is a horrible crime. However, my first thought while MTG was chanting, "Say her name!" was, quick Marjorie, name just one of the *19* children shot to death in Uvalde. Or one of the teens shot to death in Parkland. Or one of the children shot to death in Sandy Hook. Why aren't you chanting "Say her (or his) name!" about one of them?
