Back to my regular woodworking projects in the next video ;)
I think there is always room for videos like this. If you ever run into another artisan maker like this, don't be afraid to use your talent to tell their story, too. Very well done!
@@jasonbailey9139 I concur. He has many talents, and this is one of them🤟🇨🇦
If that was for a school project, I feel sorry for the other students in the class having their work compared to that. Very well done! Really enjoyed the guy's story. Not sure if it made me want to buy a bike, ride a bike, or turn my hobby into a career, but it was inspiring.
I really enjoyed that, nicely done.
Thank you so much Frank! ;)
Awesome! Unexpected from this channel but it’s a pro level documentary as far as I can tell.
To build a bicycle, what a joy that must be. 😊
Fantastic story and editing!
Thanks for the support as always Collin ;)
Thanks for making this short film. Very cool story
Well done Miles!
Love your filmmaking style! Throughly enjoyed this documentary!
Hands down best bike building video epic good work 👍
Wish you all the best for the future
Interesting, and very nicely done.
Great showcase
i'm surprised i haven't seen this clip before! thanks for making it and a huge shout out to Bob!
You are seriously talented Miles. Seems everything you wield - hammer, saw, drill, camera - is a tool to make something great!
He even rocks a sewing machine 🤟🇨🇦
I really enjoyed it. It's great work. I love bikes.
Excellent video Miles.
Bob is a true artist. I really hope he gets his dream of going full time. Amazing work Miles! It really shows how much effort you put into this. Wonderful.
That spider/Halloween frame was gorgeous! I hope he keeps it up for many years to come. Brilliant documentary, also, like the camera work and story telling was phenomenal.
nice! West Philly represent
Great video, you are on your way to Hollywood.
Glad to know this man exists.
Respect i would totally want a custom bike from him.
I started the video trying to pay attention to the framing and shot choices, but halfway through I was too caught up in the story and the building to be conscious of the camera work :D Great job!
You are well on your way to being an auteur film maker. 👍👍
I really enjoyed this. Very well done.
I hope you got an A++
That was really really good Miles! Loved the intro sequence 👌🏼 and I loved the overall feel. Nicely done 👏🏼
Fantastic. Love the tone. You brought out Bob's story masterfully.
Cool video, love this guy's bikes too
Wow stumbled across this vid. Great story and amazing bike builder. Love it!
Heartfelt. Beautiful work. Awesom Miles for displaying another person's art. Should possibly make it a regular segment showing different artists time to time.
Always good to see a skilled frame builder! The background of building for Bilenky says a lot!
So awesome!!!
I just clicked whatever YT recommended and damn... that was an amazingly well spent ~9min of my life! Felt like a meditation... Thanks Miles! Keep it going!
That frame building dude is like me!
I don't own a car, cycle every day, everywhere! 365 days per year, sun, rain, snow, hot or cold, just riding my ss bikes! It can be tough, especially in the winter 🥶❄️😆
Greetings from Kris from Croatia 😎
To me, it is always such a pleasure to see skilled artists and craftsmen at work. My parents grew up in the 1920s and 1930s and were very poor, so they were a accustomed to building or making things because it was the only way to have anything. I remember my Dad telling me that as a kid he wanted a bike, so he just scrounged around until he found enough parts to build one. Obviously, he wasn’t the professional shown here, but we kids’ bikes were always in good working order. Thanks for sharing this video.
Chúc gia đình nhỏ luôn luôn hp đầy tình yêu thương ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Nicely done Miles! You clearly are committed to your craft! That’s a lot of dedication and practice.
Old looking shops like that are my favorite place to be. His is a bit too clean and artsy for me, but dope to see another welder making cool stuff. I like seeing that a lot of guys my age are going back to the older way of doing some stuff (like his hand drafting) and keeping alive certain special skills.
Very cool!
Wow! What a sweet little film! So well done, you really captured what he's about! Thanks
What a killer story, beautifully filmed and told. Great stuff Miles.
Everything you do is done top notch. Really quite amazing how talented you are. Keep it up!

Dear Miles I see a wonderful future ahead, your video inspired me to start bulding my own bike thanks for the good work
awesome Job Miles
Thank you Steven!
Man this vid/movie needed a longer pieces!
Man go for it... use CAD dude you can keep track of every measurement and every bend and contour. 🤜🤛👍🧐
Nice aspect ratio
You had me at Monarch Lathe ha ha
Yeah a part-timer but he has a Monarch 10ee? There's one for sale locally but I don't think I'll buy it, asking price is $30,000. 😵💫
Awesome work Miles.
Thank you. Feel free to post it on your site if you want and let me know if you have any questions.
so good! well done :)
I love bicycles and I'm not young. I like your design because I always thought mountain bikes were too big a step in ruggedness from the classic touring bike for most people. Also, fit is so important. I wish you success.
Plan: Visit Bantam in Portland.
could you post the first frame you build with a plumbing torch
Miles this video is brilliant. Very well shot and cut. You're a terrific storyteller. Bob at Bantam has a kickass business and I admire his ethics and workmanship. Much respect! Duby
👍
Well done Miles! Very cool video and topic. I'm curious what you'll be studying in college.
Question. How much do you Charge to modify a bike frame if I draw out the specs?🤔
💯👏
Likewise, now retired 74 yo still major mode of personal transport is a bicycle, don't own a car by choice. Built high end steel frames from 80's. I am 110 kg and most of my builds were for even bigger men. While the steel bikes are heavier but only marginally. My current steel frame bike is 1 kg heavier than a Giant defy advanced large but has a 16 cm longer wheel base and wider rims and tyres. Rides is so much smoother and while the acceleration and handling is not as snappy cornering and stability is excellent and due to the comfort and reduced harshness a little faster over distance.
The most beautiful and sexy and best looking bikes, can not wish all that 😂 love just reading his web pages 😂😂😂 one day ill buy one from him ❤️
Cool! Somehow I've heard the brand name, don't know where :) It's cool to know the story behind it and being able to put a face on the name
Haha what a coincidence! That is awesome. Thanks for watching ;)
This clip was very good looking visually. Strange how I recently got the idea I would like to have a channel with this slow style as I always liked long wide frames (not bike frames, film frames) and the so often considered fashionable closeups in peoples faces annoys me.
🥺🥺🥺🥺❤❤❤
new to me 🚴♂🚴♀🚴♀🚵🚴♀🚴♂🚴highly important
Love the passion, but turn off when I’m presented with people who talk in rising consonants, sorry..
What type of weld conductor he use?
