Good morning Major Tom so nice to see the care you take in pouring a footer as you do a patio. Old school tradesman
Thanks 👍
Appreciate your music choice from the previous child’s playground music before. Thank you for always showing your set up, pouring, finishing, and cleanup. Most around OKLAHOMA need to take lessons from you to complete their jobs so neatly.
My pleasure!!
@@Concretewiththehauseswhat hand Groover do you use ? Is it a 304?
I still can't get over how good the drivers place your mud. Will done.
The crew is worth every penny. Keep them guys
GOOOOOOOD
MAAAAAAAAWNIN EVERYONE FROM BACK HOME IN GOOD OLE VIRGINIA BEACH!!!….cool video Tom. That boom truck is impressive to me.
The reach it has is unbelievable.
Have a day
Good morning
Always making it look easy. Good crew that knows their job. That's great for you and the homeowners.
Sip of coffee, drink of water, keep on trucking. Keep up the good work Tom.
Thanks 👍
Glad you explained why you were replacing the street walk because it looked good.
You guys continue to amaze me with the amount of work that you get done
you have a good crew
Thanks
You know you’ve got a great crew when you can finish your coffee!
You got that right!
Halifax is known as the city of trees so when we pour sidewalks we have to place a couple of sheets of wire mash to prevent the roots from lifting the slab by every tree.
G.O.A.T. Concrete with the Hauses!
Nice work always enjoy watching your videos
Great job nice keep up the great work love your videos thank you
Another awesome pour Tom n crew
hi guys, did the customer agree to your drainage idea.
First time I have seen you guys placing footers. Looks like a pretty big house judging by the size of the footers.
We do one or two a year
Steve did an excellent job finishing around that manhole cover.
Good job guys
Good guys making hard work look easy… pour the coffee ☕️😎👍
Thanks 👍
That patio turned out very nice!
Puerto Rico watching uuuu God Bless uuuu brooo
A swale might actually work better than a french drain in that situation.
Especially in places where freezing takes place.
Your craftsmanship and attention to what seems a minor detail to the untrained is remarkable! You are a concrete artist! Did your team or the homebuilder place the footer forms? Would have liked to seen how the forms are placed based on the construction plans.
Ug on the new intro music, not a fan. But my taste may not be for everyone for some reason bluegrass in short bits works.
Another great 👍 video Tom and crew Tom I liked you picking on your son about his dad belly 😊😮❤
It goes back-and-forth quite even
I don’t know Who has more problems with their sprayers. You are Ryane from victory.🤔
Sounds like the sprayer companies need to step it up!😁
Try the suction method to get out the plunger 😊
A full day for sure.
Is that splashing from the pour on the brick? How does a guy clean that off? Nice looking sidewalk guys.
Looks more like dirt, not concrete 🤷👍👍🍻
Don't listen to Steve, take a sip of coffee is a good line 👊✌😁
Sometimes it’s pretty easy to lift the man hole covers up to grade if allowed in area.
How big is that house you poured the footer for, going to be? I like the music. Great jobs. Stay safe.
Dump it on the neighbours 🤣🤣🤣
I know Jim doesn't like to talk, so can we get him to an Irish jig one time?
🍀
NEVER 😅😂
That is what they used to remove the sidewalk slabs.
What do you generally like your slump to be? Seems like you are usually somewhere between 4 and 6 inch depending on the weather. Also, what mix did you use on the sidewalk that you were able to pull forms that quickly?
Morning Tom, We're you actually using your finger or thumb to spray the water?? I thought that was from days gone by?? I assume that the concrete needed tobe that loose tobe pumped? How much dry time does that add to this pour?? Nice work as we all are use to. You and your group of professionals are the best. See you on the next one.
I put color in the concrete I think that’s what you’re talking about
@@Concretewiththehauses Now, I was referring to the mix being pumped for the foundation. Could be, but that mix sure looked awfully "loose" compared to what we see normally. You're the expert, so that's all I need to hear.
@@ronallen6578at 25:24 he says 2 feet wide, a 10 inch slump.
It's a little bit painful to see anyone doing city sidewalks. Around here they pay very little and require multiple inspections. Can't be done without a city approved stamp showing the company name and year, and, of course a license fee separate from the permit fee per job. Can't cover cost of materials and equipment and overhead with anything left to pay laborers. Results in low-ball bids and very sloppy workmanship done with day labor paid very low wages.
In the time-lapse of the 301 working after the roll-over, it looked like it was smoking a little. Did the oil in the cylinders clear up after a while?
Tom I lived in a town 90K people some of the sidewalks were too close to the street when it snowed and they plowed the streets it piled snow onthe sidewalks causing land owners to clear the snow off the sidewalks again and if they didn't the city would clear the sidewalks and charge the land owner to do it... vicious circle anyway what are your snow removal like where you're at?
Do you need a city inspector to approve the city walk?👍🇺🇸
You hear it every video, these guys are well oiled machines, most crews would just do that patio and quit for the day you guys do 2 more jobs
The good guys over at Perkins Builder Brothers only use their small fleet of iPhones for their video content, and it works very well IMHO. Just thought I’d mention it.
What happened to the drain, you mentioned it but no follow ups
I have not heard if they put one in
It looks like the homeowner did the brick on that house!
Why didn’t you just tap your bucket against the sidewalk to break it up instead of trying to pick it up and dropping it idk just seems like it would make more sense
😎❤️👍
when you do these pubic sidewalks, does the township pay you or the home owner??
Ya
I would never buy an excavator, without a thumb. It's useless.
Isn't it a "footing" not a "footer"???
If it only cost $18 and you had the mini hoe there why didnt you just do it?
Time
Who’s this guy Art that your always helping out. 🦞🫎🦌
