Unfortunately, they underestimated a fandom. I have never seen a fandom where the most evil character is the most liked one.
And yet they kept giving him sympathetic moments even in season 5. Not to mention his cool moments for example like Say My Name.

There are some people out there who really need help and deserve financial aide to get themselves moving. 3:03 yes you have to sit through some breakfast scenes, which seem boring when you take them out of context, but there's actually a lot of tension in those scenes.
DutchJake U kidding bro those long breakfast and dinner conversations had best character development. I actually found them very amusing. Both Walter and Skyler always said something to piss each other off, while junior having no idea.

My least favorite episode, the fly was not very Important.
Even though pointless, I still consider it one of the best episodes in the entire series. Sure it's slow but you can really appreciate it if you have an attention span longer than a...uh....fly.

The Wire is not based on a true story; it's not about real life. However, the show is very realistic in it's approach and depiction of the various groups/people involved. I agree though, it is fucking classic... best show ever IMO. Loved Breaking Bad as well.

Just finished binge watching the show for the first time and realized something. Walter’s character kinda reminds me of that 2-time villain from The Powerpuff Girls, Harold Smith. A mild-mannered family man with a tedious job all of the sudden sees something on TV that makes him want to be a villain.
Anyone who says breaking bad is overrated need to reconsider everything right now.

It wasn't just the color purple - all of the characters had specific colors that they'd wear. The darkness/lightness of the color of their clothes changed over the episodes with their mood.

And I like how everyone is so hung up on her cheating on her husband while her husband is going around murdering people. As for giving the money away, they literally had more money than they knew what to do with. She did something with it. She was the only one who knew how to handle finances, she was more competent than most of the other characters. People hate Skyler for reacting like a real person to horrible things, and somehow Walter doesn't get the same shit for the worse things he does.

Season 1 to 3 was basically one of the most infuriatingly over-dramatic, boringly-paced episodes/series I've ever seen. It only pays off in the final 2-3 seasons due to the build-up that is how the origins take a turn for a darker twist but it takes so long to happen whilst having to deal with Walts' wife and her constant squaking. Due to people complaining about how much of a bitch she is, I also began losing respect for the shows' creator because he thought the complaints were made by misogynist men who're just bigots or the lot.
Whilst the very truth of the matter is that the creator, Vince Gilligan, cannot for the life of him within this show create a strong female character who isn't ANNOYING AS FUCK. Every female character in the show is either weak, annoying, bitchy as all fuck, over-dramatic or dependant on a male character all the time, and he actually goes to call the complainers of Skyler to be 'misogynist', rofl. The show had a lot of badass moments because of Walt, but when you cut Walt out of the picture or Gale singing Major Tom, the show was, in the end, something you need a LOT of patience for at the beginning.
