In this video Dr Shenthil Prabhu MCh(Gastro)., explains about the Gastrointestinal manifestations of covid 19 and he also suggests measures to curtail its spread by Fecal bioaerosol . About 30-50% of covid positive patients test positive for stool viral RNA . Though majority of Intestinal diseases are mild there is a possibility of Fecal bioaerosol spread which can be curtailed by wearing masks in toilet , closing the lid before flushing the toilet, avoid keeping tooth brush inside toilet and proper hand and leg washing and a good nail care.
