- I haven't seen too many videos of the k9sportsack packs And snuggler. I recently purchased a few things from their website www.k9sportsack.com so I figured I would share a few things about the product. I am posting it in case it helps anyone. Both packs are a size Large.

5 years later and this video is still incredibly useful! Thank you for taking the time to provide this product comparison :) I have a chunky cavalier and have been looking into these!
Thank you! Glad to hear this video is still helping people out
This is a fantastic video! Very informative, great examples, and your dog is adorable. Great job!!! You get a rare thumbs up from me!
Jenny Cupcakes thank you! I really appreciate it. I couldn’t find good videos of the sportsacks myself so I decided to make my own in hopes of helping at least one other person
Necessity is the mother of invention :)
We're Corgi owners so thanks for the great visual!!

Great video. Very useful to see how it works. Also, love the fluffy and patient model 🐶
Omg
So cute I love how u handle ur doggie so careful I wish all ppl were like that.
veniceblair xo thanks! I agree, I get anxiety the way I see some people handle their dogs. Especially long backed dogs prone to disk problems
Seeing all the strength you have and the effort you are making to get him on your back, makes me concerned for me with my 55lb 🐕 😳
Not going to lie, it's a pain in the ass because i'm so scared of my dog tipping over lol
Well done Jeff, we're just preparing for our Corgis backpack and this helped a bunch!
What a sweet dog. I just got my back pack. Thank you for your help.
Thanks so much for this video. I've been searching for a long time for a carrier my corgi would fit in. And considering this one for several months. This is informative for me two fold! Seeing the differences in the bags and seeing a corgi fit
Sante thank you! I really appreciate your comment :). I’m glad that I was able to help you and your corgo out!
Hey! I live in seould and i was just about to buy this bag. Your review was so helpful and both you and your dog looks awesome 😁😁
Thank you for demonstrating! Was not considering that, once in the sack, pet might tip over and get hurt if not careful so good tip! Also love your 🐕 and how gentle you were with him!
Thank you! 😊
Awesome guide!!! I put our corg in the backpack today by myself (we usually put him in with two people) and he almost toppled over! Definitely going slower next time!
Thanks so much for doing this very informative video. Your dog is adorable and such a good sport and model.
Thank you! Much appreciated. I’m honestly surprised he stayed such a good boy the entire video 😂 it was the treats I swear
Thank you for showing the air and the urban in the same video. We were struggling to decide which one to buy and this helped us with choosing. Although we like the look of the urban more, we felt the air looked like a higher quality build.
Bruno P I’m glad this helped you guys. I couldn’t find any good comparison videos either so I decided to do my own. Also, I agree with you. I like that the air has back straps I can tighten down to help bring him closer. I haven’t found myself wanting to use the urban bag since I bought it. I am always bringing the air with me though.
Your dog is sooooooo sweet & patient! The perfect demo dog!
I love short- leggers (a.k.a. low-riders). I have had doxies & used to dog sit for my friends 2 corgis.
I used to have 2 doxons but they unfortunately passed of old age. They were great dogs though. I love low riders as well
Definitely what I have been looking for to travel with my Corgi awesome video Jeff
Thanks I appreciate it. Hope the video helped
Thank you so much for putting this together! Very well done!
Thank you! I appreciate the feedback. Congratulations on the new products you put out not too long ago! I wish I had a bigger dog to try it out on 😂

This was so helpful!!! thank you. Got my 19-year old doggy (yes in human years!) all settled into her new backpack so she can hike and walk around with me again.
Wow. That one amazing and wise (age) dog!
That’s amazing! I’m glad to hear you were able to bring her back out for hikes :)
this was super informative, thank you so much!
Thank you for this, ive been looking for the right backpack for my 9yo corgi who just can't do long hikes walking anymore. She can't keep up with my two younger dogs anymore but I don't want to leave home, so I'll try one of those.
Thank you very much- this was very helpful. Cute dog- a real star!
Lullah the Cairn Terrier thank you! I’m glad it helped you out :) we still love and use ours
Thank you for your video. I might get one backpack for my dog.
I'm going to purchase the K-9 Sportsack after watching your video. Colby is such a good boy!
I'm glad the video helped you out! And thank you! He's a very good and patient boy 😁
Thank you for these informations! 😀👌
Thank you for this video! I have a corgi as well and was wondering how to put her in. Right now I’m just getting her used to stepping in it!
I’m glad the video helped you! :) my corgi didn’t like it at first but now I don’t have any issues with him getting into the bag. Sometimes it still takes a while for me to get him to sit inside the bag but once he’s in he loves it
thank you!! looking into the air plus now.
Perfect demo. Thank you. We have a corgi as well and I was worried about how hard this might be. I think I’m willing to try it now. I suspect I’m going to get a lot of dog slobber in my ears hahaha
I'm glad this helped you :) they have a bunch of new bags too since this video
Thank you for the video. It was very helpful. I am looking into ordering one.
Thank you! im glad it helped you. I highly recommend getting one
thank you for the review! I think I will get the air plus one for my cavoodle. Where i live dogs have to be carried to be able to go on most public transport so when i go to the city i have to pay up to $50 for parking...
Thank you for sharing! Just got my air plus 2 in the post and am about to give it a go with my Boston terrier! Definitely going to have the treats on hand lol
ThugCrys that’s awesome! Let me know how it goes
Super glad you made this video :)
Thank you 😊
Thank you I just ordered one for my corgi!!
mishirusama awesome! My corgi was just diagnosed with an immune disorder. We had to give him meds that made him lose his muscles. It was nice to have the bag to still bring him around places. He’s doing much better now but the bag was definitely a treat for us to have
Easy to assemble,fun to use
Good video, well done!
He's so funny looking and patient lol
Great info
Great video :) thanks
Killer job.
this is super helpful, thank you!
RainaWilde thank you ☺️ I’m glad it was informative

The dog is cute. He has a lot of patience.
Lisa Elliott thank you! Yes he does haha
So nice video, great job!!
Thank you :)
i was like. loook at this doooode... with his muscle shirt, but your dog is cool af bro lol
He is a keeper.
Your Dog is so Cute
Thanks 😊
lmao, when I saw that name on the snuggle jacket I was like no way!! I will be getting my dog soon in a few months and I'm gonna name him Colby as well, he's going to be a cavalier king Charles spaniel, and I will possibly be getting a corgi too named chase. very useful video, i wanted to get the snuggler myself!
Awe that’s adorable! Let me know when you get your Colby! Mine is too fat for the jacket I could give you mine lol
hah don't usually watch a whole 13min demo... but finished this one - nice job man
Wee Movies wow that’s an awesome compliment! I probably wouldn’t sit through one either but I couldn’t find a good video when I was looking to get the bag hahaha
thank you for this video, whas very helpfull
Geert Heyrman awesome! I’m glad to hear. Thank you!
thanks. very informative!!!
Isis Lima thank you!

Very good lesson and appreciate the care you take not to hurt him. The other warning for folks is to not zip their dog’s skin. Also- I thought that coat went on the outside and around the bag so they can stay in the bag but you can add the coat or take it off without them coming out of the sac? What a good dog!
Hatch Man Do unfortunately the snuggler won’t fit over the bag. So if you wanted to take it on or off you would have to take your pup out of the bag. I honestly haven’t used the snuggler since I bought it because when it’s cold outside I’m not usually in the mood to go on a long hike 🙈
WOW thanks 🐕☯️🎊
I love taking our dog in the air 2
So cute
Lisa Gallegos thank you!! 😊
Too cute :D
Our Boston terrier wiggles around a lot. We had to clamp in him... on his collar. He tries to go to side to side to look around. 20lbs in large bag
Sophie Simar did you measure the length of your dog in a sitting position to his collar? They recommend this before buying a bag. It could be too long for your dog and not allowing him to be in a full sitting position. My other dog is a shihtzu and he isn’t long enough for a large and moves around a ton.
also your baby is precious!
ginajromo thank you ☺️ I’m glad the video helped
I see these all over NYC now I was on the R train and got to 14th street at union square park I looked to my left I saw a pit bull looking at me lol I thought it was a stuffed animal at first but I think I want one for my pit cause he hates being left alone in the apt and usually New Yorkers hear it all but 1 person on my floor is not happy with me so I really need to take him to work and walks in the morning
Juan Elorriaga check out my new video I just posted! They just came out with larger bags that can fit your pit. I think these bags may be a bit too small depending on how long he is. You can measure him to figure out what size you need
I was interested in buying this for my dog but she's not too thrilled when it comes to even putting a raincoat on her so I'm unsure how she's going to deal, so thanks for your tips and experience. Side note, your dog's look to the camera and expression made me laugh.
To be honest we never used the raincoat after we saw it didn't fit him, it just sits in a box in the basement haha. Also my wife said the same thing. She screen shot the moment he stared at the camera and sent it to all her friends saying this is what I do when I'm home alone. Hahahahaha
He was looking at the camera like “idk wtf is going on 😂😂😂😅😅😅 but im eating alot”
Thx for the helpful demos! I bought the same 2 u did. I have a Maltese so I really need the bolster. But every time I check the site, they are all sold out.
It is really annoying how the tell you not to return your K9 sack if it is to big but the suggest to buy the bolster instead to raise the height of the bottom of backpack. Ugh!!!!!
I’m glad the video was able to help you :) I never bought the boosters so I don’t know what type of material it is but maybe try getting a block is styrofoam from a craft store and cutting it in size to fit. I tried using a blanket and a sweater when I put my shih tzu inside the bag but it didn’t work well haha
nice dog
Thank you
Hey, my dog is a dachshund, do you think this bag will hurt his back or cause any pain?( he's tetraplegic already, that's why I'm trying to be extra careful with the bag choice).
Hi! Great review, thanks! I have a cardigan corgi, and was considering the Urban. But it looks quite less sturdy and less comfortable. Now that you've had them for a while, which one would you recommend? I assume the Air Plus?
I personally like the air plus more. I'll he honest I haven't used the urban because I like the breathability of the air plus more.
Thank U for the review. I looked at Urs and one other one, and now I am sold.
I plan on getting a Large and buying the bolster to boost them up.
I did have 2 questions tho, do U think/feel this puts any strain on the dogs back (my dog is getting old and sitting pretty is now a bit of a task for her) and the other question, where did U get the name patches made at? The seem to fit the bag perfectly.
Thanks a bunch.
I’m glad my video helped you out 😊What kind of dogs do you have? My corgi didn’t need a booster block but before buying a sportsack they recommend that you measure your dog at a sitting position so you can get the correct size bag. As far as if it hurts their back, the website recommends that you don’t leave them in the bag for longer than 45 minutes at a time and if they have any back issues the bag isn’t recommended. My corgi hasn’t expressed any signs of pain but if he did I would immediately stop using the bag. The Velcro nametag was purchased from their website you can get a variety of different colors and font. Check out their website :) www.k9sportsack.com
@@Jms4ntana I have a Boston Terrier. Shes slim but kinda long.
I had another backpack I use when I take her on planes and for when she gets to tired to walk but it doesnt fit her body. It's like a big square. I plan on keeping that bag, just in case. If the bag doesnt work for her, I have another Boston that can use it also. Shes 15 but toughed out 4 miles today.
I also wanted the booster for a bit more Cushing under her butt.
It is hot here and I plan on getting her a chiller (still not going to exceed the suggested time from K9) but just to cool her down if needed and also plan to wrap her in a blanket as well as in her Pjs when we go to colder places.
It was so funny hearing U try to talk Ur dog into sitting. My dog will climb into any bag I tell her to and climbs into my husbands assault bag if she thinks he is going anywhere.
Thanks for letting me know about the patches. Off to order them now. :)
Dog is like: Just a little payback Dad 😅😂🤣🤣. No sit
🤣🤣🤣 he always sits but he was being stubborn
@@Jms4ntana
He's adorable 🥰🐕
“Oh dad, this is so humiliating.”
Looks good, though doesn’t look like space for anything else if you go for a hike?
Kenny Robinson check out my other video. K9sportsack recently came out with a backpack that is better suited for hiking
You are both really cute
Sine thank you! :)
Is the bottom of the dog is comfortable? I don’t want to hurt my baby paws, or his private area
Nice video! I have a Corgi too, which size do you recomend me to buy, I'm from Mexico and the larger size we have here is M, but I don´t now if it will be nice for him
Juan Carlos Ventura Alfaro I got him a large. I don’t think he would be able to comfortably fit in a medium
I just bought one for my corgi =D
Here in Jakarta currently the biggest size is M as well, L is sold out, so far M is just okay.. yes it fits quite okay, but i think if you have the option to buy L, you should get L.
Can i know if this good for the dog?... will it hurt their back?... I am thinking of getting one of this bag pack too.
MsWaterDuck my dog personally does not mind the bag. However, it says on their website to not put them in for a long period of time (max 45 minutes) I rarely ever have him in the bag for longer than a half hour. I would say get the bag and if you notice your dog isn’t tolerating it well to maybe use it for a less amount of time :)
What size is the air plus for your corgi? Small medium large?
B Brown hi I have a size large for my corgi
The snuggler looms lime ot would be hot. Im in san antonio, you think that one would be too hot?
megan dryden I haven’t used mine because it doesn’t fit my dog unfortunately.i wouldn’t put it on during a hot day though. I live in New Jersey and I planned on putting it on during late fall and rainy days. It isn’t a breathable material from what I feel. It would do a really good job at keeping a dog warm though
What about the bottom feet are they squished in there?
They are im a sitting position while they're in there. I had issues once where my dog kept repositioning himself like he was uncomfortable so I took him out of the bag but never had any issues after that one time after that. There's plenty room on the bottom in my opinion though
Hey I know this was made 2 years ago but which backpack would you recommend and how do you know if the dog has to go the the bathroom
Hey so there's been updated backpacks since I made this video so I can't speak on the updated ones but I love my air plus. It has been able to bring my dogs places he normally wouldn't be able to go and helped me when my dog got sick. As far as the bathroom situation, I never had him in the bag for a long period of time so I never had an issue with thinking when he had to go. K9 sport sack website says they don't recommend the dog in the bag for more than 45 minutes but I never even made it to 45 minutes at a time personally
I think my dog will dropkick me if I ever attempt this on her. But do you think I can use this while motorcycling?
Tony Kart Racer they actually post pictures on their Instagram of dogs in the bag on motorcycles. They sell goggles (overpriced in my opinion) for the dogs too
Love this video!!! How do u get it engraved
Jk I purchased it thanks to u lol so excited for our hiking trips now
Awesome! My pup has been sick so we haven’t been taking him hiking with us but once he is 100% better we will be going back out again ☺️
How much does your dog weigh? My dog is about 43lb and wondering if it's worth a try.
Stacy Sealky my dog weighs 29 pounds. The air plus weight limit is 40 pounds and the other two bags weight limit is 30 pounds. At 30 pounds it gets pretty heavy carrying him around. You may find it discomforting to carry your pup around at 40+ pounds. That’s my own personal opinion though
Stacy Sealky hey Stacy, k9sportsack just announced they are making a new bag that can fit bigger dogs. Just letting you know so you can purchase a bag that will be more suitable for you and your pup
How long is your corgi? And which size is this?
Chloe Nava I’m not 100% sure what his length is. However, my bags are a size large. I know a lot of other people who have sportsacks for their corgi and they all purchased a size large as well. For the best fit I would recommend following the directions on their website though
Is that the large size? I purchased a medium one for my 25 pound shiba inu, he's 18" long from neck to tail and 22.5" girth which falls into the medium size according to the sizing chart, but he didn't fit in!
Yeah I bought a size large I think my dog was a bit on the border so I ended up going a size up
Hi may i know what his girth is that fits the Large? Because my corgi has a girth of 77cm and according to the size chart the Large is a 79cm. Im afraid its going to be too tight for her..
I will measure and check back with you in a few hours
My corgi is 61cm round at the largest part of his chest
I got a backpack and no, my corgi doesnt like it. I dont like it either. Its too uncomfortable for all of us having him strapped like that in a purse, and he is trying constantly to come out. I am returning it
I don’t see it being for everyone. My corgi was trying to get out too when I had him in it at one point. To be honest I haven’t used the bag in a long time but it worked great for us when we did use it.
Does anyone have the link where I can find this backpack?
I have a 28lbs corgi, Do you think it'll fit?
Smashmapools yeah mine is 28lbs. I think that you should measure your dogs length though. If you go to their website there is measuring directions so you can properly purchase what size bag you need or to make sure he/she isn’t too big for the bag. I believe they make larger bags now though
Is he heavy on your back?
Thank you! 😊 he's not too heavy but I usually don't have him in the bag for too long. He actually hasn't even out in a while because he had a bad illness but he's getting better
Thank you! 😊 he's not too heavy but I usually don't have him in the bag for too long. He actually hasn't even out in a while because he had a bad illness but he's getting better
@@Jms4ntana I hope he feels better.
Thanks for the Reply.
what size is ?
Nice body! CrossFit?
Not really good for dogs with long bodies and back problems. Wish they would make something for them
corgi is usually heavy and this position makes all his weight landed on his butt...hurt his spine. pls dont do this
Kelly Chan my corgi is 28 pounds (not heavy for the breed) and has seen a vet on the regular probably more times than any other dog I know. He’s perfectly healthy and I can assure you if he was uncomfortable at any point he would let it be known by kicking around and constant repositioning. My dogs vet has seen the bag and has one herself. However, he is never in the bag for longer than a half hour as I use it on hikes when he gets tired and need to help him get down the mountain. Please don’t misinform people.
@@Jms4ntana has your corgi's legs ever tangled up or anything? I just got my air plus today and I tried putting my corgi in it, and now he's hurt. Seems to be his back leg. I feel terrible.
J H no I haven’t had that issue. I only had him in the bag once where he was visibly uncomfortable and I immediately took him out but that was only once. I’m sorry to hear about your pup. Be sure not to put him in for longer than the recommended time. However, if you think the bag caused your dog harm I would look into another style bag.
