Great explanation of the shoulder rotation work that frees up space for the arms to reach the target. Thanks so much Todd for all you share.

I think one of the keys to this swing is that thanks to the stance, alignments, and distance from the ball all the forces necessarily move in the same direction, all the rowers row at the same time, and what's even better, once you understand it, it's harder to do it wrong than it is to do it right.

Most people will never stick with it long enough to understand the feeling of greatness or what pulling the flag feels like.😉👍🏼🏌‍♂️

Very interesting! I keep coming back to the "Moe swing" for consistency after drifting back to a more conventional one, because I get much better ball striking. But I do get those hooks coming in when I get horizontal rather than "rocking the shoulders".
Question - I see your setup is conventional with feet on line with the target. I'm finding it more natural to set up with an open stance where I'm looking down the line. I think my spine is still perpendicular to the target but my lead leg is definitely back from the line. Should I avoid this or do what's comfortable? I just want to avoid developing bad habits if it's going to make learning the swing more difficult in the long run.

Is club fitting different for the single plane swing compared to conventional golf swing?
