@@eldyswarsens7160 I have seen almost every game with him the last two years, for both club and country. It was strange to see his bad touch a number of times in this game. It's not his strongest attribute, but he is usually solid and effective - and often sublime as well, even though he can look a bit awkward because of his size.

Watching the game , I noticed Haaland was making a lot of runs in behind defenders but the midfield held onto the ball too much . In a team that’s more direct like Liverpool , he would do fantastic but with City possession based style , his going to lack service or get touches on the ball unless Pep changes his style

IMO, Alvarez will integrate into Pep’s system quicker than Haaland. Haaland’s obviously an amazing player, but he’s probably going to have an adjustment period of getting used to Pep’s style.

Liverpool was lucky. He rarely misses big chances, and it certainly wasn't because of pressure from defenders. He had one goal disallowed because of Silva being slightly offside, too. He could easily have scored at least one or two goals in this match, but it was one of those days
