I installed Turn Signals on my Sur Ron to make it more Safe for getting around town! Highly Recommend if you ride your sur ron like i do in traffic. 30min install max. It took longer to charge them up then it did for installation.

Tip: if you hold the left or right buttons the turn signals will flash until you click them off again. Good for long lights.
I had the same set on my Sur Ron. If they get glitchy(both signals not working), I would just change the battery on the remote. Cheers.
Sweet 😎 thanks for the update and good videos lately I’ve seen you post
Those came out nice dude!
It has peddles that’s the best thing I’ve ever seen
Outstanding 👍 and thank you for the update gotta get a few of them 😄😄 safer on the road 🛣️🛣️
I'm surprised your bike is legal. My state doesn't want bikes going over 20mph. But man the look of that thing is sick! Sounds insane too
yeah the limit here is 28mph
@@MrCentralDriver It's ridiculous, scooters get to go 25 here here. Why does the less stable vehicle get a higher top speed?
“If I wanna turn right, hit that”
*left comes on*
Haha yeah oops
Using these too. Thanks for the perspective from a distance. Having same issue with the button sliding. If you figure out something good please post.
Double sided 3m tape
Old bit of inner tube.
This is the best eBike I have ever seen.
Thank you
Got the Sur Ron too, put the switch for the headlight. Now all they need is a brake light to connect to the brake levers. So they show the traffic your slowing down. They have the foot brake conversion kit but it's pricey at 200 dollars.
Yeah it’s expensive
You can get tail lights that work as brake lights as well as blinkers. The brake light function is triggered when you slow down.
Got them lights from Aliexpress for $50. Ofc it includes long wait tho. Love the light tho.
Wish I knew lol
Is there any way to mute the tone at the control? 😅
Nice
Mine had an annoying beeper. Just unscrew it and pull out the black disk once the control unit is open
Hey, Good Video Bro :) My front turn lights are exactly like urs, the same angles. I did testing and you can see them in daytime far away from the bike.
Yeah very bright
i got my surron about 1 week ago. have you had any trouble with cops at all. or have they mostly just looked and kept going. im in san diego and dont see any riding on the street but thats where i mainly want to ride so i was just curious. thanks. nice video and set up. i just ordered a set of those lights.
No issues. Cop do look. But keep it moving
Yo Maurice. I live in San Diego too. I’ve been riding mine in the streets. No issues with cops as long as you follow the speed limits and not doing any wheelies in the streets. Haha
@@flexander2735 cool thanks for letting me know. I live in el cajon and been riding the streets here and there but havent passed any cops. Maybe we can meetup. And ride sometines
I just flip the lights so that Up = Right and Down = Left, which I know instinctively
Got 2 pairs of those but it sucks that they're garbage during the day :(
1:52 police on the left 🤣
Can you tell me where you got that headlight from?? I've been looking for years for a headlight with a nice OVERALL wide type beam that is VERY bright like that one asi like to ride on the dark roads?
Fisherfabhouse
I have a surron. Is this a plug and play?
Hey, I'm considering purchasing the same exact model of the turn signals, however, would you say that they are clearly visible in daylight? Since, I'm also considering simply performing some DIY stuff, that is, using some real 12V bike turn signals and a battery, or, like I've said, buying one of these. Thank you in advance, appreciate it.
not during the day no
How much was the conversion to 72 volts and what are the amps on the batt.? My batt. is already going down at only a year and three quarters. Gonna get a Lipo4 instead so it's last 3000 charges.
2800. Controller plus battery. 40ah battery. 400amp BMS. Only pulling like 180amps daily
Are the lights easy to disconnect to charge the batteries, or do you have to cut the zip ties and use new ones every time the charge the batteries?
yeah just slide them off the mounting brackets and charge them. super easy. i never cut the zip ties after i installed them
App to use it on your phone
Bought these a yr ago only thing I hate is the charging
Same. Should be type C
Dude what is the app you use for gps speedometer on your bike?
It’s iOS speedometer
how long does these turn signals last?
About 2 weeks and I only use them maybe 20mins 5 days a week. The rest is idle time.
Gotta put your mph limiter back down to 20mph
Where did you get the sticker on the back where it says 750 W
It’s from Bolton bikes online bike website.
i see em on ebay too for 5 bucks
I like the bike. Where did you buy?
lunacycle.com
Can they be seen easy in good daylight?
Not really
Any brake light comes with it?
No it’s just turn signals
Are they bright enough to see in the daytime?
No they are not
@@MrCentralDriver Oh that’s a deal breaker for me. Doing the hand gestures feels awkward to me but it seems like I have no choice lol.
If these were a little brighter and had an off switch (so the batteries didn't drain over a few days without charging) these would be perfect.
im just wiring my turn signals direct into my ebike a simple regulator and its done although mine are wired a tad different i have a 12v battery that runs lights horn and accesory 12v power with a switch up on the handle bars that allows me to turn on a relay that transfers ebike battery power through to the 12 battery so i can recharge it from the ebike battery if it ever goes flat during a ride
My solution that I’m planning to use is just a normal phone power bank built into the frame using strong 3MVelcro. That I can easily plug my light into with a long split charging cords that I’ll waterproof and zip tie to the frame it still keeps all this cheap and easy since I can just unplug and charge the power bank. The light kit I’m looking at will only be about $50 so all in all I’m looking at ~$65. I think it’s a pretty nice compromise for buying a full motorcycle set or one of those “plug and play” sets that you still have to do a bunch of extra install steps and generally more expensive.
I wish they put blue LEDs lights turning singles
I believe blue would be illegal for turn signals.
@@MrCentralDriver nah I have blue turning single with amber I don't have any problems I only use them at night
You can’t put blue lights on a non-police car. How do you not know this? Thank about it kid, have you ever seen blue lights on any car in your entire life besides a police car? Answer no
@@eastwood111anyway still can
These seem perfect BUT there’s no additional marking lights to identify which side the blinking light is on. With no additional marking lights, the driver of the car in front or behind you is only seeing a blinking light. Especially in the dark. They will draw attention but fail as a turn signal because of that flaw.
Very true. It’s not perfect
can you please explain what do you mean my marking lights?
Did u just pass. A red light
"and so if i wanna turn Right" *presses left turn signal*
haha my bad
@@MrCentralDriver ur good man I just thought it was funny is all
Same thing happen to me when i drive lol
If you pause at exatcly 1:51 theres a cop.
Left is left right is right learn you turn signals 😂
Accident lol
Still gave you a thumbs up for a great video, but that wasn't my experience with this product at all. Bought these for my ebike and returned them before fully installing them. I couldn't get front and back to reliably turn on in the garage so I definitely wasn't going to trust them in traffic on the road. The badly translated instructions have the remote control using a coin battery, but the set I received has a micro USB rechargeable remote just like the lights. They only included a 4-wire USB cable instead of a 5-wire, so that's dumb. I don't recommend these at all, especially not for $60. I'm probably just going to wire some motorcycle turns signals either to a DC-to-DC reducer or just a separate small 12v SLA battery, which can probably be done cheaper than these POS rechargeables.
Which ones did u pickup because these were 99.99. You said you got some for 60?
@@MrCentralDriver these exact same things are anywhere from $40-$100 depends on seller and marketplace. Various Chinese branding on them
"If I wanna turn right"... *Turns on left signal....
Keep em guessing
That sounds like it came from my little brother's mouth.
that's cute that you think drivers can/would see your turn signal light, the only thing they see is a dim light not even a cyclist on road, so always ride defensively don not assume anything
