IT IS A SERIOUS understatement right there. When I snap the ball, my guards would immedietely run to the sideline, letting the edges/ tackles run towards me and sack me under a second. I'm just there like:

After playing the beta I can confirm a lot of these things make the game feel MUCH better. I immediately noticed how much better the blocking was. The player movement and tackling animations felt fresh and new.

@@grimey78 Nah, I've been playing madden for a long time. This does truly feel better, last year the game from a player moment and AI standpoint wasn't good. I can honestly say this is a big leap forward.

tbh i cant hate on this trailer. everything looks pretty good. wish we couldve saw more emphasis on DB's coverage.
From playing the beta, the DB coverage is significantly better, there are still a few things that could be better but for the most part it works pretty well
they did put alot in to be fair. but i think by time release day comes they should have a few more things added for dbs. or every position in general as they use the beta as feedback to tune the game.

The problem with this game is that there is no physics, and it doesn’t look like they added physics in the game so you will still be tackled through your offensive line or picked off through your receiver because nothing interacts with anything unless it’s in an animation.

While I agree with you, i'm at least optimistic with the fact that the game looks like it's going to play better than 23 through 18. It's not going to be perfect, but it's looking to be a major improvement

Actually really promising, my biggest problem is that NFL teams don’t play like NFL football. Hopefully this adds some depth to playing the AI

Curated to hell and back. Madden always has some good plays and some really bad plays/glitches. Also, for $70 they can go to hell.

Its always been in the game but its only usable on simulation game mode because thats what is meant to symbolize real life

It’s amazing how it’s been over 2 decades and they are still selling basic football elements. They want me to be happy that WRs can now catch the ball realistically. I understand improvement but that’s like telling me to be happy that a 20 year old can tie their shoes.

Hopefully 1 day Madden will add classic teams like NBA 2K does. Add like the 1974 Steelers and 1985 Bears and 90's Cowboys and so on it would spice up the game for the people who can't spend thousands of dollars on packs.

This actually looks really good. I love that there's all these new features making it more realistic especially the DB one, I keep getting tired of situations when there is a DB in man to man on a receiver facing away from the ball and you throw it to a different receiver and all of a sudden the DB quickly turns his head like he has eyes behind his head and saw the ball going in a different direction and runs to the other receiver and makes a play.

Exactly bro this is why they were so unsuccessful, with the same old sliding flat line ball across the field 🤦🏽♂️. With a bounce into the air we actually have a chance now, a lot of time I forget to get in onside kick formation and still have no issues recovering, I bet if u don't line up properly this year u will be hurt .

I love how every year is a 'change to the foundation'; at some point you actually have to BUILD on a foundation with depth and content, unless of course your entire engine is broken.
Things I want you to add: Mixing of the Referees, Halftime show for superbowl, and a college mode for most of teams in the NCAA.
This looks CLEAN. I like how they did direct comparison to last years game to show their improvements. Sapien 2.0 looks great, the player models look way more accurate. Want to see more of the defensive game play. Excited for 24

Something I'd like to see is in franchise mode when you play in the super bowl or the SB mode in exhibition, can the SB MVP award be awarded a bit more realistically like lol there's so many times when my QB throws like 380+ yards, 3 tds, 0 INT, crazy good passer rating and my RB puts in like 100+ rush yards and a rush TD but then some defensive back who had like 4-5 tackles wins the SB MVP all because he had a nice pick 6 play

I’ve got the beta, it plays very smooth. Once someone comes up with a good realistic slider set, it’s gonna be 🔥🔥 Passblocking still needs work though(on occasion )

0:06 seconds in and we get our first recycled animation. Come on. As long as the game relies so heavily on motion captures there’s no way the experience as a whole can truly evolve. How can they talk about calculations and physics when the whole movement sequence has been pre recorded.

Yeah they should have an emotional control rating. The lower the rating the higher the chance of the player getting ejected for fighting or committing a personal foul.

With the improved blocking logic, have you also cleaned up the offensive/defensive line interactions during blocking animations (specifically pass blocking)? I no longer want to see lineman's arms constantly fusing/clipping through each other during blocking sequences. This totally kills immersion.
Also, can we please get the ball to stop ghosting through stadium walls? When I think of Living Worlds, I don't want to see the ball ghosting through the stadium. This was fixed in 22 for all stadiums, in 23 only a few stadiums were fixed, & now it looks to be the same in 24. This also kills immersion.
Other than that, I like the gameplay improvements made this year.
I know that the referees on the field never was a big deal but I’m glad they added them back on the field

I usually am pretty cynical but I appreciate that they at least TRIED to make improvements l. I think they could still put more effort in the overall offline game mode experience. Like Franchise, Game modes like mini camp, even a 7 on 7 street ball mode would be cool. But I still feel like you should get more options to create a more immersive in game experience from a regular season game to a prime time game, a division rivalry game , to a playoff game to the Superbowl. I often feel like there is no difference between how a regular game feels vs a serious game or a Super Bowl. There’s no life to it and personality. So that’s one of the things I wish they took more pride in
