This was amazing! I'm 66 and grew up listening to D. P. To hear this done in this style is outstanding. Something else I noticed. Sina is all about music. Obviously, people come to her channel for her drumming skills. In this video, there was very little about Sina and her drum skills. It was all about the various musicians. Beautiful job.

I also just commented similarly in another forum (Patreon), that Sina was content providing rhythm support and not grabbing the spotlight. The fact that she lets her colleagues shine and allows them to do their best is one of the aspects that makes her so special. That and the fact she is a true humanitarian... This isn't even a comment on the song or music, but I needed to mention and add that these qualities (including her amazing talent) is what draws in supporters (like me and her other patreon members). Rock on!!

Wonderful performance! The musicians are all so talented. The arrangement composed by Linus Mahler was perfect. I especially enjoyed the crescendo of the strings near the end.

Ich bin 64 Jahre und stehe selber 40 Jahre auf der Bühne und verdiene mein Geld mit Musik. Bin mit Bad Co, Led Zep Deep Purple usw groß geworden. Habe einige der Kommentare gelesen und das Gefühl, bei denen die geschrieben haben, geht's nur nach dem Aussehen der Musiker und Musikerrinnen und nicht nach dem, wie das Stück gespielt wurde. Keine Spannung, dumpf runtergespielt, das war's. Ich verfolge Sina von Anfang an und muss sagen, weniger ist manchmal mehr. Habe die Kritik von Ian Paice verfolgt und gebe ihm Recht, Du bist ne gute Schlagzeugerin. Sehr gut sogar. Höre Dir das Stück noch mal an. Ganz genau und dann mache es noch mal. Mit fünf Leuten und achte auf die Spannung in dem Stück. Ich bin überzeugt davon, dass Du es wirklich besser hinbekommst. Beste Grüße Antek

Been into Deep Purple since I was 7yrs old. When Mach 2 reunited in '84 with this Album it was a pure magical blast from the past. To see it done in this manner goes to show how brilliant the band truly was(is?) You all are fantastic and hallelujah to yuh for your vision.... Hot damn! Another masterpiece by Sina and her fantastic friends. Please put out an album of all these great rock n roll covers by these young musicians. I am 67 years old and these old covers hit me right in the sweet spot! Love to all involved in these productions.

This is why I watch CZcams. Sina you bring back many happy memories of the past with a fresh sound to these old classics. You have some great musicians, love listening to Chiara sing. You have been one of the best discoveries on YT Big fan from Australia.
I was an adult when this was originally released by Deep Purple. This version is to put it mildly simply stunning. I love the orchestral and brass additions, the arrangement is nigh on perfect. This is so hard to say which version that I prefer. Well done everyone involved. Brilliant!

I have listened to this numerous times. All the musicians play wonderfully, but I have to give credit to the sound engineering. The sound is big and consistent, but not sterile in the least. This sounds great when listened to with good speakers and headphones. Good job.

Superb cover of a great song. I saw DP perform this at Knebworth Park in June 1985, where they were supported by Scorpions, Meat Loaf and a few other bands. I remember Ian Gillan making a rubbish joke about the song being based on a football team called the Perfect Street Rangers. Then he giggled so much during Knocking At Your Back Door that he could barely finish it, but that's another story.

It was only recently I found out the lyrics are inspired mostly on the "Elric of Melniboné" series of fantasy books by Michael Moorcock.
