    Mi a véleményetek róla?
    Kukorica tarlón is jól muzsikált.
Mi a meglátásotok a munkagéppel kapcsolatosan?
    Milyen hátrányokat vesztek észre?
Hagyjuk ki az MTZ-t és a vele járó 3 méteres tárcsa viszonylatát.

Curious, what does the unit weigh? Definitely a gaggly looking unit for sure. I’ve been impressed with what I’ve seen.

The 62HDX is 12000kg. We don't claim that the machine is beautiful, just the job it does.

What is the cost for the 62 ft?

Nice video but since it goes only 2 inches is there a need at some point to use a vt tillage or ripper to break up the soil com package??? Thank You.

Hello James. It really depends, I can say that on our farm we have achieved a huge improvement in soil structure, water percolation and infiltration and root penetration by only working shallow. It took patience and many years for the soil to repair but it has happened. Many farmers choose to rip, perhaps in the fall and use the disc chain as a finisher in the spring. Some use a VT in fall to size material and again the disc chain in spring to finish. Many guys are now parking the VT in favour of the Kelly with perhaps a fall pass and a spring pass.
As soil carbon increases so the compaction and water logging decrease. The goal long term is to build the soil structure so we are not reliant on deep ripping. No over night fix I'm afraid and a lot more factors to consider than just shallow tillage, but its an important start. Careful management of soil nitrogen is another piece of the puzzle as excess nitrogen hastens the consumption of soil organic carbon by microbes. It's possible to return huge volumes of residue to the soil and not increase the soil organic carbon levels if there is plenty of nitrogen and tillage going on.
      Cheers.

Does it pull hard…is there a ratio of width to HP needed? Growing up with mold board plows, deep ripping etc it would be hard to “accept” that as tillage. But if it works …

Need 300hp at the least, can get weighted disc that cut deeper

I found a video of it in field with grass weeds and corn stalks, that was untouched since harvested, very nice results,,, Hmmmmmm think I'll have to talk with pops !

I have a short clip of the discs working in wet conditions in NZ, not sure it's as rough as you'd like to see but at least the field was uneven. There are plenty of clips on youtube that farmers have put up in a huge range of conditions.@@waynebelch2068
