She had everyone in tears as each person was asked to hold up a paper indicating what students have said to her while teaching here. Between those she shared and things that students have said to me, the trials represented in the video are all phrases said by students from ALA.

MESSAGE FROM OUR DIRECTOR
The making of this video was a life changing experience. While learning this arrangement, I told Encore that this project could potentially affect many people. Each member felt connected to this song and often asked to share what it meant to them.
Many people have shared with me their struggles with anxiety, depression, and thoughts regarding suicide. I, myself, have gone through hardships as well and know the struggle and uncertainty that comes along with it.
We premiered this video at our Encore Showcase and many people personally expressed gratitude for the impact it had on them. Every step of this project, from hearing it, learning it, recording, filming, and viewing the final video product, has carried with it a sense of importance.
