It’s sort of like a tug of war between guilt and anger and all the while feeing down about them missing out on the things your doing now . I lost my best friend for 16 years in 2016 and I still can’t get through this song without tearing up, it hits hard

I'm 2 years older than Chester was when he passed and I've been struggling with my mental health so much since COVID and some days I don't know if I'll make it and I find myself coming back to this video on those days. Chester has helped me greatly but I worry that if someone with the world in his hands couldn't do it, what chance do I have?

Last April I found out a childhood friend I hadn't talked to in awhile killed himself. I got in the car and my stereo came on and this song came on after the last song I listened to b4 school ended. I had to wait in the parking lot until the tears weren't so heavy I could drive home. It hit me hard and still does.

I'm 53 years old, and the only celebrity's death that hit me hard, was Chester's. I had been a fan since they started and ways enjoyed their music. He will be sorely missed.

I come from a family of gang bangers from compton and wasn't allowed to listen to anything white, yet I listen to linking park from a young age and managed to get my brothers approval and even they listened to linkin park after I got them into them sucks chester committed suicide and I never got to see him perform live

Mat. I never worked for Linkin Park. But over the years, Chester and I crossed paths over a dozen times at airline first class lounges. After the first couple of times, after a hug, he always asked who I was on the road with, then we just seemed to continue where we had left off in our previous conversation.
Incredibly down to earth guy. After he left us, I would unconsciously find myself looking for him at whatever airport I was in. And would be sad when it hit me that he wouldn't be there.
