Finally someone talking about how Overhyped this Season is, Don't get me wrong, it's a decent season with many mechanics that are still in the game today, but saying that this was the pinnacle of Fortnite's history/gameplay is A big exaggeration. Actually this season got 3 updates the crash pad 1 the spy game mode and the Kingsman umbrella Which was a lightsaber re skin. Btw A season lasting almost 5 months with only 3 updates would definitely be considered the worst in the game if it were released today.

That season is that good that even without some random collab in middle of season it can be extremely enjoyable, if you played that season and got bored then you just trying to not fit in society

It definatly wasnt the best, but I think it compares incredably favourbly compared to the previous season lagging on for so long. May have been burnout, but may have also been because they were working on the Epic Vs Apple lawsuit quietly in the background

You got some points but those little issues are nothing compare to a fun gameplay and spy vibe it had but I respect your opinion. I can definitely play chapter 2 season 2 for another 119 days with no prob and it would be a blast. There was something so unique about it that brought me deeper into a game. So I think I am talking in the name of 90% of the players if I say that if that season was released today it would be more quality than then

There are definitely more overrated ones, and when comparing the ai system from that season to the current season is a bit unfair as the boss system was brand new and we have had 4 years so it be better, also there was alot of content you skipped out on

I think some of these takes are good while others are a little iffy, for example the henchmen music and bosses, the music was a literal que that something was going on.

The battlepass characters, the presentation of them and the ui was just the highlight of that season. Gameplaywise it was absolute trash.
