RIP to Clarence Burke Jr. who was the lead singer of the 1960's teenage group The 5 Stairsteps, which consisted of Keni, his sister and three brothers. They are known to most for their hit, "Ooh Child"
Super ligne de basse.Super melodie.Very sexy song. Album acheté en 1982 à San Francisco.Album volé dans ma voiture 6 ans plus tard....Retrouver Keni sur youtube en 2013 en live...le pied!Merci Keni Burke. You're the best.I love your music!I love your groove.....
Jada, you have a great musical family. Your family are the best musical group that ever lived! I will love the 5 Staristeps and the Burke family forever!
I was so impressed with Kenni Burke and I love this song. Such an influentail bassline too. It's be copied many times, most notably the Mary Jane Girls- "All night Long". I'm hoping that Kenni will visit the UK again soon.
I know we're doing everything that we want, meanwhile are we losing, cause we want let go! Wakeup- your body and move it around! Yaaass! Luv it! Still sounds Amazing! Keni Burke is awesome, Let's keep rising to the top! Makes me wanna go somewhere anywhere!
I was cracking UP!...Keni held it together beginning at 0:32. He heard them wrong notes from the audience and I know he wanted to laugh but he kept his composure...lol Love this song!
I REMEMBER SEEING THE FIVE STAIRSTEPS AS A CHILD, AT THE APOLLO THEATRE, I'M TALKING YEARS, YEARS AGO, WHEN CUBI WAS A BABY, LOVE THIS FAMILY ALWAYS! REST IN PARADISE CLERENCE..
Wow Jada, you do indeed have a very talented uncle and family. Thank you so much for taking the time to comment on the video. Had a fantastic night at Kenni's gig and was privelidged to be able to shake his hand at the end of the gig. I'm hoping that he'll find his way over to the UK again sometime soon :-)
@AleekahTV I agree he's absolutely amazing. I thing he said that he was 56 now but so much energy and such a nice guy. He was happy to shake hands and chat with fans after the show.
