Being german I easily got together 5 complete sets of east german combat sets (uniform and gear) and got it all for less than 200 euros. You assemble the belt, you put on, then you fit the Yoke Y straps while you arewearing it.....that is how it was designed, of course it got Soldier fixed( within reason and fashion). I have a pair that have 3 Green elastic keepers above the buckles that can tighten up the straps and Auxiliary straps for the Assault Back.
I have the full kit I have bought piece by piece and putting it together has been a pain. Thumbs up for the tips.
