    This looks amazing. Would you please share how did you set it up, and where does the end of the duct go?

    Waiting for my Ailio to arrive. Could you share what that fan product is? and how well do you find it working so far? I've heard things about powered fans being too strong for Ailio's liking, but it looks like you're mitigating that by not directly attaching the inlet *onto* the Ailio itself.

      Scott, I added some part numbers in the description. You're correct, directly attaching the duct, especially with a fan, can mess with the bullet. If you have not joined the facebook group "Aillio bullet R1 Group", I highly recommend it. There is a lot of good information there. This setup is working beautifully and I'm very happy with it. Enjoy your bullet, I've only had mine a few weeks and I'm loving it.

    I’m curious. Is the S4 fan powerful enough for this operation? Or should I get the S6?

      If my set up was the same as this video, I would say the S4 is enough. I have since replaced the fan in the bean cooler with a much higher CFM fan and it could use a larger vent fan. I may change it all out for a six inch setup.

    Hi Mike, Love the work you did on this. Any issues with the exhaust gumming up your fan? I have seen a few people putting filters up stream of the fan to reduce the oils and whatnot. Also, did you make the bean chute?

    • @miketread8185
      @miketread8185  Před 2 lety

      I found the CAD files for the bean chute here.... www.kaffeewiki.de/wiki/Sch%C3%BCtte_f%C3%BCr_den_Bohnenauswurf I found an online place to cut this out for me. I've taken the fan apart a couple of times to blow out the fan. It comes clean pretty easily with compressed air.

    Hi Mike, do you find that when the cooling tray fan runs, it blows air out through the splitter towards the roaster? I am seeing that issue, but I have a filter in front aswell.

    • @miketread8185
      @miketread8185  Před 3 lety +1

      I have not seen that issue. I usually just keep the blast gate cracked open a little with the exhaust fan on medium during roasting. Then open the gate all the way and turn the exhaust fan on high when I dump the beans.

      @@miketread8185 thanks for the reply. I will try without a filter in front.
