Great job on this film, congrats to the DP and the writers! Please produce more videos in Ilokano! We need more Ilokano media!
Beautiful and informational Ilocano documentary .... the sceneries makes me so homesick ....
ang sarap bumiyahe sa probinsya ❤ Napaka-gandang palabas na nagpapakita ng ating napakasarap na pagkain sa probinsya ng Ilocos. Mabuhay ka @FloranteAguilar
How beautiful the heritage, traditions and culture of Ilocanos. Proud Ilocana, awan kaasping na ti kinapintas ti pammati ken kinaimas na ti makan nga Iloko.
I grew up in the province of Ilocos Sur in the Philippines in a farming and fishing town, near the sea. Our Spanish Colonial influence is rich but the Ilocano hospitality and way of life is rich and abundantly supplied sustenance by our Mother Earth - we just have to work hard in the fields and everyone works together.
The guitar is the work of Mr. Florante Aguilar in the Tarrega Spanish Style of Guitar Playing called ‘Classical Style’ fits well in this well-made Ilocano documentary.
I also know how to play Classical Guitar, and I know that Mr. Florante is master, a Virtuoso of the Guitar. I love the music.
Regarding the Singer: I still remember him, His name is FELIPE ALONSO, he was also an accomplished guitarist and was a part of an 'Entertainment/Zarzuela Company = TIKONG ken ni TIKANG' when I was a kid and did SHOWS all over Northern Luzon.
Thanks for sharing, Roderick! Cheers
I grew up in the City of Baguio, but had the best of both worlds with my mother's ancestral home in La Union being in an hour going (literally) lowland. I am so glad that I experienced these cooking traditions in my childhood. One of the highlights of my yearly trips back is going to the local markets - the offerings of which dictate what is to be cooked for the day. Aaaah.... kayat ko manen ti agsubli,
Thanks for sharing!
Wonderful piece of work! The half-ilocano in me wants to visit my mother's hometown of Vigan and Bantay 😍
GREAT concept. Good music, good food. Thank you again.
My mom's side is from Ilocos Sur and my Dad's is Ilocos Norte. Shout out to the director, a fellow Ventura. Food reminds me of family parties. Much love.
That's where my parents are from too ✌️
