I loved their music, it's the music that I've grown up with and I've even did the harana on my youth. It's pure filipino. Reminds me who we are. There's places that i know of in the phi that still does the kuratsa around the visayas area. It's fun to watch.

Thank you! But this beautiful and lovely Filipino song is very much alive and always being played in Samar and Leyte especially during Fiestas and wedding celebration. Among the notable personality (to name just one) whole lovebto dance the Kuratsa dance is the Former Congressman Raul Daza of Northern Samar, he is an avid Kuratsa dancer during his colorful political career.

We Waraynons call this "Kuratsa Mayor" because it is played in a Major scale. On the other hand, there is also "Kuratsa Menor" played on the Minor scale. Nakakaproud as a Waray yung video niyo.

With all due respect po, Sir idol...ang kuratsa po is more popular in Samar island, not in Leyte...though it is a traditional dance by the waray people who inhabit both islands - leyte & samar. Npaka dami po ng variations ng kuratsa sa Samar - in terms ng musical arrangements...pero yung rhythm po nun, iisa lang ang pattern. Yung version po na tinugtog niyo is very harmonious and melodic...pero kung sasayawan po yun, mhihirapan po sumabay sa tempo yung magsasayaw. Overall, magaling po ang tugtog niyo...maraming salamat po sa pag bigay ng pansin sa musikang waray at lalo na sa pagbibigay halaga sa kultirang pilipino. Godbless po.😍🙏
