- The BMW 750i has been refreshed for 2020. Under the hood is a 4.4L twin-turbo V8 taken right out of the 8 series pumping out 523 HP and mated to a ZF 8-speed gearbox. On the inside everything has been updated for the 750i. The exterior and interior has been brought inline with the X7. Has BMW brought back the excitement of for the 7 series with the 2020 750i? This car is beautiful. The tail lights are the best part. Bad zonk.. Without the LED bar it would be the same exact look as the last model. Great video pls continue to show cool cars 🙂

I like the new refresh look, I also like the new updated Tech. However I just wish BMW could make the twin turbo's sound more Tougher. That just me.
To be fair it’s a luxury sedan not a sports car. More aggressive sound wouldn’t fit imo

Wow!! The review was really informative. And I really like the detailed exterior review of the car. But, I felt like something was missing in the review while driving. Perhaps it was the oddly placed camera where the visibility is good but couldn’t see you explaining the details. And also, it would have been nice if multiple camera angles were taken instead of one during the entire time while driving. Creates a monotonicity.

Great job. I feel super luxurious GT sedans like this deserve “The Jefferson’s” theme song. If anyone out there has one, do you drive or do you have a driver? I ask because it really seems geared to pamper the backseat passengers. About the front styling,i think I’m getting accustomed to the gigantic grille design trend because I didn’t even notice it until you mentioned it. Again, great job to the whole crew.

yea if feel a 5 series is already A LOT of car if you drive it yourself. 7 is more for being driven or if you really want the overdone luxury.
Joe-agree exhaust could be more audible. Even the turn signal is loader than the exhaust! For my money though would get the M8 Coupe if I was to spend this type of money for a car. Thanks for the great review and loved the M8 review you did also.
Theres a sports plus mode that makes the suspension and steering more aggressive.

Bigdog Bulldog the closest thing we have to the autobahn is the Jersey turnpike. Miles of unchecked freeway with no traps. People were cruising at 100 mph so I decided to let my E55 stretch it’s legs. It was a shock to her at first but the computer quickly adjusted and it was great to be able to drive 120-130 mph. I’d gotten to my destination almost a full hr ahead of schedule. I’ve hit a lot of open roads but they all have cops hiding around and shit. Just think if we could drive these machines the way they’re supposed to be driven. I wouldn’t bother flying from VA to Florida

Liked the review and point of view drive. Impressive horsepower and torque numbers from 4.4L. Will say it’s odd the you attribute so many features as borrowed from the X7 when the X7 is not even one year old yet. I the 750i set the standard for the X7. Could you review that beast ?
This car deserves to be outfitted with the quad tips especially in an M Sport package. BMW must have some fascination with vacuums lol beautiful car but I've always preferred the s class.

But being a former Mercedes-Benz technician Mercedes BMW Audi and jaguar are riddled with quality control issues . that's why the resale value plummets after 30,000 miles or 3 years because smart people know to abandon ship.when the iDrive first came out with the fiber optic cable on the 7 series it was a nightmare to fix and super expensive. BMWs are known for plastic cooling systems AKA radiators bad connecting rods bad main bearings. basically I'll sum it up like this the sales manager of precision motor cars in the mid-to-late 90s affluent customers purchased the vehicles new middle class low income purchase the cars 2 to 3 years old because they have such a huge depreciation

I like the front end of this Bimmer. I'm not a fan of the view from behind. That gun metal grey should be body colored imo and fake tips are always a ginormous zonk.
The interior does not look like a six figure vehicle to me. Those types of screens look like an afterthought. I'd like to see it as integrated unit that cohesively blends in with the dash.
Until those screens are designed to be swapped out to newer tech when available, like a plug and play style tablet, they will always look goofy sticking up like that.

No it doesn't. I own a 750Li2 and my wife owns a 328i. While the interioes resemble each other, they are very very different.
The grill is actually too tall, if the headlights would be placed a bit higher the grill would look alot better, it would look like a rolls in a way cause the grill is masive as in the rolls royce but the headlights on the rolls are placed higher

The interior dash looks no different than any other bmw over the last 10 years with the floating screen on dash, similar layout and controls throughout, it’s not anything like Mercedes does which their interior looks for more modern and the instrument cluster I don’t like, it looks like it could be bigger and the rev counter going a untraditional reverse is zonk, are there speed and rev counter fixed on the screen or you can change the setup? It would of been good if you went through that a bit more. The exterior styling looks good on front but the rear end is where it’s looks like it’s a Lexus copy design

It was told to me that the MBZ's look better but the BMW's drive better! That was 15 yrs ago, I wonder if that saying still holds true today? The benchmark for luxury vehicles is the MBZ "S" class. Joe, I always have to stop channel surfing when your reviewing a German vehicle, something tugs at me until I watch!

2020 BMW 750i is 8 years too late.. Mercedes S63 AMG and S65 AMG sedan completely dominated the luxury sedan market. The numbers don't lie. Since 2014 to present the Refresh for Mercedes..it was number one globally for this segment

Because they are nortoriously unreliable. This car is how BMW got a bad rep. It's more an image builder. Doubt they sell very many.

@@iNeverHadMercy Yeah the 7 series are to be avoided like the plague. Wiki shows less then 10K made for the US market in 2017. I'm surprised its that high. IMO, the best one to get is the X3 xdrive made in the US plant in South Carolina. I got 7K off and paid 47K fully loaded. Those are rated very reliable and best utility/performance/MPG's one can get from a SSUV. BMW makes over 100K X3's a year. Whereas this limited produced 7 series is a German import that will depreciate like a lead balloon. Its these models of BMW that give them that bad rap for high cost of ownership outside the warranty. These are truly dreadful in that respect. And there is plenty of documentation to prove it. This is like a Land Rover where you sell it before warranty expires. I expect the lease would also be too high being the damn things depreciate so quickly. But when equipped with the V12 its pretty unique.
