The nfl should watch these videos..
âŠ. No grounding ⊠#84 was in the stadium âŠ
Love how they call Andy Daltonâs number on the special teams for a penalty đđ
And the penalty against the Seattle mariners đ
4:48 - "Sideline Interference, the coaching staff of the Seattle Mariners was in the restricted area." đ
You gotta love it.
How should you tackle someone who ducks and leads with his head?
But he was 'giving himself up'... right? while trying to get the first down... While Detroit does a slide and gets hit.. no call.
Put a big hit on him even if you draw the flag to let him know not to do it again. I like Jared Goff, he's pretty tough, and Seattle let him know early on if he tries to get extra yards they're going to light him up.
Dropkick that's how
He wasn't even going down! He was trying to break the tackle by spearing the defender. Not only is it not a late/unnecessary hit, it should be a penalty against Mac Jones.
Gotta ninja kick that fuck
This week are more like 50-50 and funny calls. Seemed pretty normal to me
Yeah, I actually quit watching about halfway through the video because I didn't see any really really egregious calls.
Taunting calls are stupid get rid of them
3:58 Uh Scott, Andy Dalton doesn't play special teams. These refs just keep getting dumber with these bad calls, don't they?
Yes
@@K1SH1RYU
I can safely say that Scott Novak might be looking for another job after this season, especially after that horrible roughing the passer penalty on Sunday night
@@Milwaukeeroadfan I agree.
You know, sometimes I wonder if the refs are watching the same games we are...
Either they're cross-eyed, or they have the eyes of a bat.
They are but you are watching on TV with dozen camera angles and slo-mo replays. Refs see everything only once, from one angle, reffing the best athletes in the world and the speed on field is ridiculous.
@@RoyalMela and also a lot of those calls are 50/50. They land in this video no matter what they call
I'm surprised the non call on Kirk's grounding wasn't turned to a roughing the passer!
That was my first thought, â this better not be roughing the passer â
Same
Taylor Rapp hit might be one of the most textbook tackles iâve seen a db make. These refs have gotta understand we are playin tackle football heređ
It's helmet to helmet. Nothing textbook about it.
Why I stopped watching nfl just boring to me nowđ
5:10 Did he just make that upâŠ.đ€ŠđŸââïž
Itâs not made up. He just didnât say it correct. Iâm sure he ment to say say the player was making a non football play and it just came out weird.
The thumbnail made me think the ref was doing the Macarena.
Want to protect defenseless receivers make it illegal for them to duck during the catch. Also want to protect runners make it illegal to duck during a tackle as well.
If the tackler drops his head heâs going to get called every timeâŠitâs not hard
4:48 I love how you included this because of how dumb the mistake was by both Carroll and Boger đ€Ł
4:40 Pete aint listen to his Get Back Coach
How do you turn a delay of game into a pass interference call?
The NFL: we protect QBs (except for Wilson, Carr, and Fields)
It's the ONLY job in America where you can be blind AND stupid and still keep your job!! Way to go, Refs!!
The reffs should be fined every time they miss a call or make a bad call, and they should have an overrule judge that's watching from the booth
You gotta put the roughing the passer on the interception on the cowboys game. Or you can put the 10 holds on micah parsons every game. You'll have a free clips of micah getting held every game lol
The Dallas CryGirls.
Donât forget the fumble they overturned.
@@nineteeneightynine432 Okay, seriously, this has to stop. Youâre not funny
@@nineteeneightynine432 you couldâve Atleast tried with your insult
they do that man then they gotta call Diggs for all those holds in the secondary lmao. and all the holding old man Peter's doing over there for your o-line.
They just to turn this game into flag football. It's gotten so bad that if you sneeze on someone you get a penalty.
Teh No Fun League should remove the Taunting and Excessive celebrating penalties. These are grown men!
These are all Las Vegas gambling calls. I would love to see a game when the NY officials "explain" a call on TV, they are called out for this bs.
Love the mariners coaching staff getting a penalty
14s Andy Dalton âŒïžđđđđđđ
The NFL ought to suspend officials who make consistently bad calls
Personal favorites:
0:04
1:20
4:34
I don't know what's funny, the look on Pete Caroll's face when he celebrated then got a penalty or the offical called Seattle Seahawks Mariners
There were no Refs on that Miami and Lions game apparently. There was also an obvious touchdown that was overturned and a blatant offsides by the Lions near the goal line too.
there's a HUGE difference between a bad call and a call made based on a rule you don't agree with - most of these were the officials making a call based on the rules they are tasked with enforcing.
also - all fouls are not seen if they were seen and called there would be holding (or facemask) on every play and the games would be incredibly boring
Didn't know the Mariners played in the NFL
Sometimes the refs don't know what they are doing and it is really funny to see that!
That's their main motto.
Holding and pass interference have been taken out of the rule book apparently
Why the hell do we call this professional football
it has been a circus for a decade now.
@@bessarion1771 facts
Have you watch lower levels recently?
Some of the games were fixed, there is no hell the world they would be that blind!!!
Refs have been missing an awful lot of facemasks this year. Almost like they are ignoring it.
7:16 why does the ball look like it glitches?
Yeah thatâs weird
Itâs all an illusion âŠ
Green screened like that villain in Spider-Man (Mysterio) đ
That was weird maybe just bounced off guy so fast and at the angle we saw made it look glitchy
So many stupid rules for nfl now days. Let these guys play
If I hear the term defenseless receiver one more time I might go insane. ITS FUCKING FOOTBALL
Love your video
A QB can throw the bal 30 yards out of bounds but they never think of calling that as grounding
Idk about the 49ers vs rams at 9:00. Dude clearly led with his helmet. Good call. Same with the jets and ne, that was warranted. Hitting the head with the head or shoulder is gonna draw a flag every single time, why would they be surprised lmao đ€Ł
I agree. The last clip clearly shows the helmets hit first and the receiver didn't lower his head either.
@robby49er I saw that and had to add that too. Gotta still protect our players from unnecessary injuries.
Itâs a flag but on the runner. Heâs not supposed to lead with his helmet. This stops players from abusing the rule and getting themselves into dangerous situations trying to abuse it.
@@christiansalas1066 the runner didn't lead with his helmet in the niners clip. The defender did. The runner was standing straight and deemed defenseless.
@@robby49er talking Jets and NE
For the 11:59 clip, the taunting call was justified. The defender, immediately after the tackle, stood over the runner and taunted. The official's flag should have been thrown immediately, but he was apparently going to let it go if it hadn't continued.
I know you mostly do nfl but can you put up the Alabama v Tennessee 3rd quarter?
That Mac Jones run just pisses me off
Nah that first one should be a no call. Nobody wants a game to be decided on a penalty
It really feels like the refs have made ton of shit calls this year almost more than normal
how do tackle someone who immediately ducks and leads with their head as soon as contact happens..? asking for a friend. its impossible to play defense in the nfl now
If you are talking Jets NE, that shouldâve been a flag on Jones if I understand correctly. The runner isnât allowed to do that. The 49ers Rams one was probably the right call because the receiver had just caught the ball
4:37 I'm not a fan of the Seahawks, but WHAT BULLSHIT WAS THAT!!!! That referee is a Class A HYPOCRITE!!!! That's abuse of power. I wouldn't be surprised if he got fined or something.
Starting to notice a trend of refs giving way more roughing the passer calls to white QBs. Trevor Lawrence flops any time a DL breathes on him ("ruffling the jersey, not roughing the passer"), Daniel Jones baits defensive penalties at his own risk on purpose, and anyone who touches the geriatric Tom Brady is instantly flagged... But Tua takes a head shot in the pocket - no flag. Russell Wilson gets facemask tackled - no flag. Jacoby Brissett takes hard hits in the pocket without flags all the time. Lamar Jackson has had ONE roughing the passer call go his way in 4 seasons. There's a serious issue with refs treating non-white QBs like runningbacks.
Derek Carr isn't taking geriatric vitamins
They need to fire all the refs and give some younger ones a chance because this is getting outta control
Some of these aren't so bad this week. They're definitely getting better and better. The first couple weeks were just absolutely garbage.
I mean gonna be shit calls regardless but atleast it's no a blind bat fest like a few weeks ago.
Some of them were definitely debatable. More than in previous weeks.
@@kuttispielt7801 but it's better to have more debatable and less obviously bad cause that means they're getting better
@@JIKwood I'd say this week was an outlier. It's too soon to call it a trend
Kirk cousins is a known intentional grounder..
The officials carry a 12-sided die like from Dungeons and Dragons, and they roll it to determine what penalty they should call.
Anyone notice how Charles Davis feel the need to defend the refs all the time
5:18 that actually was a good call because if the defense delays the ball and grabs it and doesnât let the ref get it in time then thatâs what it means
That's not what happened
I loved when Clete Blakeman started to smile
So funny he called jabrill peppers an Ohio state stand out
Honestly not to bad overall but the taunting calls are annoying
10:50 is not a bad call. He was clearly going down. However, the NFL needs to change the rule a bit. QBs need to to start sliding feet first or get laid out.
Bad take. He was trying to fall forward to get more yards. The defender can't be expected to just give up a first down, when a runner tries to fall head first.
Yesterday when JJ catch the ball number 26 was holding him hitting him hit him hit his head no foul I was like what the heck WHAT
That TB12 Roughing the passer is absurd. Itâs not in the spirit of the rule. The referees always give Brady the good calls. The falcons could have won the game, but they didnât because of that absurd. That is straight up Bull S**t.
Okay did I mishear on the Broncos taunting âpenaltyâ that you could get ejected for it?
Referees definitely have a tough job! They get new rules every year! That being said, the refs suck this year! They are missing so many calls and many cases not calling blatant fouls! I would normally say consistency would help but, these guys evidently don't know how to spell consistency much less provide it! Simply said, the refs suck this year!
Keep in mind there is a huge decline is refs Iâve been doing high school reffing for 5 years now and every year we are 20-40 guys less than last year. Itâs shitty job.
tyraan m caught it..
11:55 is a good hit. QB was a runner, guy was already commiting to the hit and tried pulling up. Defender more rolls off him than anything. Goff's head doesn't even touch the turf. Good no call.
Ehhh⊠this week wasnât as egregious as past weeks
The missed call on Buffaloâs touchdown against GB was as bad as it gets. Like wtf are you looking at?
So how many gold camos do you think Kyler has?
If defenders can't lean in to tackle head first or make head contact then the runner shouldn't be able to lean with their head either. That is how to have your strongest center of gravity, which makes it the most difficult to tackle: when the offense can lead with their head and the defence has to try to avoid it
Especially when they do a Mac Jones flop into the defender. That was 100% head contact initiated by Jones, Mosley was just trying to stop the first down
Taunting and roughing the passer are two major game-changing rules that really need to be done away with
Whats the problem at 11:00? It looks like he only hit him in the head, why would that not be a flag?
Where is he supposed to hit him? Jones went down leading with his head. He's a runner at that point and the contact to the head there is legal. That play only gets a flag because it's a QB running, but he was an established runner at that point and he wasn't giving himself up.
START FINING REFS
Ok some of these are close, but not terrible calls.
Some are bad yesâŠbut if this is the worst you got? They doinâ pretty well.
Qualifications to be a NFL referee. Must have fantastic imagination or hallucination or see things that aren't there and so forth yada yada yada.
Can somebody please explain to me what happened in the first Eagles/Steelers clip? I didnât understand what the ref even said the penalty was for.
The defense can't mimic the snap count to get the offense to move and false start.
@@orkan69 aka a bullshit rule that accumulates to why the nfl is much softer today
Hey they're doing better the refs have one less minute on the video this week
2:50 damn, the one time they are actually supposed to call a penalty against the QB, they donât.
Wtf is going on in the NFL?!
Wouldn't have made a difference for Atlanta. Even if Bird caught the ball it would have taken 3s off the clock and game would be over
3:00 is a good no call. The ball was way behind Pierce and uncatchable. Did Fuller grab Pierce? Absolutely, but the ball was so far behind him that it did not matter because he never would have been able to catch it. 3:27 the ball is not even in frame it is so far away, so, as much as I hate NFL officials sometimes, they made the right decision to not call PI or holding here.
If refs receive more than the Federal minimum wage, they are overpaid.
I can't wrap my head around how the refs are so unbelievably bad this year. It's almost as bad as the replacement ref season. Such BS that the NFL just looks the other way while the refs ruin the game.
I just donât like the penalty for staring at a player and I think thatâs agreed by most fans and players as well
Suprised you didn't have the refs calling a too many men men on the field penalty around 5 minutes after it happened in the Vikings-Cardinals game and the play-clock on the next play had already hit zero.
Sorry, but at this point they need to put flags on the QB and you are only allowed to rip the flag off to have him be down.
Seems like a miami thing to get a flag for
So the helmet to helmet contact on the rams is wrong but when we look at the rams wrong we get an unsportsmanlike conduct gotta love the NFL
What a great week for the refs. Almost all of these were correct, or at least reasonable calls. Not nearly as many blatant mistakes as previous videos.
How old is Jerome boger? Heâs in every video this year. A joke
During the 2022 season he was 67
Glad he decided to retire
Genuinely what is church Mosley supposed to do there mac just doesnât know how to go down and the refs needs to stop letting him get away with it
Why is 9:10 a bad call?
If you tackle Brady it's a penalty regardless
Why didn't you show the delay of game against the eagles?
@nfl 3:39
The NE Eagles wasnât a bad call.. it was what it was.. He ran and led into his head as he was going down. He was guilty and got the penalty he deserved.
What's controversial about the obvious call at 8.55. I mean, sorry the WRs smaller than you but you still can't go helmet to helmet. Also, it was on a second down, and he caught the ball anyway. lol
8:55
No wonder they make bad calls. Can't hurt someones feelings when they screw up.
Cry babys not football players. Mommy Help! He wants to tackle me.
13 mins of bad calls omg
Edited: I laughed at defensive delay of game called by Clete Blakeman, even he smiled and attempted to not laugh đ
@7:02 because itâs Tom Brady. The refs throw a flag anytime Brady is so much as touched. His wife was so sick of it she divorced him.
