Kobe Bryant 43pts vs Celtics (2007) amazing dunk at the end

- (2007) 43pts @Boston Celtics after a one game suspension.
Everytime Kobe is upset, watch out! This time, he was fired up because of a one game suspension that forced him to miss his only trip to Madison Square Garden.
Kobe came back in Boston to drop 43pts incl seven threes. Adding 8rbds & 8asts, he put an exclamation point at the end with his signature dunk: a baseline windmill slam which brought everybody out of their seats. - Sport
Kobe used to do this outrageous shit on a regular basis, The greatest pure scorer ever
Def top 2 pure scorer . . Only Jordan can make the tough fadeaways like kobe
This 28 year old Kobe would definitely owned a 28 year old lebron.
Real talk.
***** of course lebron has a higher percentage. all he does is take lay ups and dunks
Lebron will never be able to play like Kobe EVER
Kobe has the best set of offensive skills in NBA...81 pts
***** Ever watched him play? Takes layups and dunks only.
Stan Marsh if you do notice, Kobe was taking way many more tough shots than Lebron ever did. Not to include, Kobe was also taking deep 3s and tough 3s. Stats isn't the truth, watch and compare the two player and you will notice that Kobe will certainly win Lebron. Lebron stands a chance too, because he has the physicality, but when talking about skill-wise? Kobe will definitely win.
***** Its like learning to play guitar, if your really good at playing easy songs, you sound good, but if you attempt tougher more technical songs and can't play them worth a damn, how well are you at playing the guitar?
Kobe has gifted the world with something much more amazing to watch and learn from than lebron. Regardless, I like lebron as a player, because he's good at getting to the rim, but if I want to develop my footwork, or get more technical on my pull up or fader, or just improve my arsenal and skill, I always come back to the Kobe and Jordan footage, any real baller will tell you the same.
Kobe in his prime was the most unstoppable player of all time , he had everything ,3-pointers, fadeaways, midrange jumper, the post moves , fakes , dunks, everything.
inam fcbb and a monster on defense
Ok guess Jordan doesn’t exist
lol Boston fans were hoping Gerald Green would develop into Kobe Bryant
I was at this game and it was really something to watch Kobe work. I never saw an athlete move so smoothly and without effort. YOU WILL BE MISSED BLACK MAMBA!!!
so many laker fans there. I remember when they chanted MVP in boston
I mentioned the same in my comments! I was there as well such an awesome night in my life!
Tommy, that wasn't a walk.
LMAO almost as bad as Bob Cousy calling Celtics games on TV38
Yeah even Bob Cousey knew better on that one
That 2007 kobe.........omg words cant explaing how good he was......kobe still good btw
26‐28 was the best versions of him in his prime
that last shot was incredible. the defender jumps immediately with kobe & puts his hand in kobe's face & uh it still was money.
So I'm not the only one to say that was definitely not a travel!! Even on the slow motion, you can see he only took 2 steps.
i think, the only laker or the only none boston player to have this kind of cheered and applaud in the boston garden..
The 3's my gosshh
I was at this game... probably the best performance I have ever seen in person. That dunk had the entire place buzzin. I watch this video once a month just for old time sake
I went to this game and it was my first NBA game too. Needless to say, I didn't go to this game to watch the leprechauns. A friend and myself went to go watch the purple and gold tear up the parquet floor....Oh yeah and Kobe of course...Incidently this was the game where the garden was actually chanting M-V-P! M-V-P! LMAO!
Scal vs Kobe era. Greatest rivalry ever
😭
This guy clearly never heard of the euro step lol
kobe's at the buzzer, 5-6 ft beyond, just hits it like it's nothing, he's soo good
I love hearing the announcers just give Kobe credit where credit’s due hahaha
4:26 expect the idiot that called kobe euro step a walk
wow miss these kobe days when he would just bust ass and was a relentless baller still is today but just not the same as when he was in his late 20s
Best 40 point game ever from Kobe.
thats not a walk is euro steps with 2 steps, and kobe dunk on a slam dunk champ who can jump freakin high. lol
Garry Wu LOL that's why he said it with a low voice on the replay hah. under his breath.
I noticed that, but it's a left-handed Eurostep (so he steps left-to-right instead of right-to-left), so it looked funny, and a lot of people call steps based on how it looks. Not saying that justifies it, but I understand why he thought it was a travel.
I assume that was Heinsohn, but I'm not sure. Anyone?
That last jumper....holy shit
This was an epic game, my first ever attended seeing Kobe play live!
Kobe was UNGUARDABLE during this stretch of his career
Yup!!! I think even MJ would’ve had a difficult time trying to guard Kobe this season... Im just saying!!! 🤔
Kobe was unguardable back in 2000
"he (kobe) probably makes more tough shots than anybody else in the game" probably? PROBABLY? SMH
lmao i absolutely love the crowd's reaction on every shot Kobe makes....incredible
Damn.... the confidence on his face
Damn! Those were some killer 3s
4.17 wasn't a walk he put the ball on the floor picks it up and used his pivot
That last 3 tho....DAMN...
Clearly NOT a walk...He's never heard of the euro step lol
Kobe did the euro and hubie called it travel, fast forward till now in 2018 and it's now being called a great offensive move lol
"and this is why hes kobe"
best player ever right here
i love hearing the hometown sportscasters during kobe's greatest games.
Standstill three-pointer from two feet behind the three-point line. This dude's game is so fluid, water
Kobe Bryant Is The Best Player...! :)
Kobe in 07 was at the peak of his powers.. the only reason he was more successful in 08 because they finally brought in another Allstar
the one thing i do give credit to kobe for is he brings something new to his game every year....he always has that extra move to beat your move
Wow he dropped 41.5 points the last 2 games with 6.5 rbs and 5 assist. He killed Gerald Green's career.
Yep! And I didn't put it on video, but at one moment, they showed Kobe's stats from the 81pt game...and how did this announcer react?: "that's a lot of shots!"
That's all he had to said.
Kobe ball handling was crazy. He crossed #13 (hopefully he don’t get offended for not knowing his name, West lol). And it was a nice assist too.
Thanks for posting. I was at this game, 7 rows behind hoop.
4:31 commentator calls a walk when he only takes 2 steps and review goes to prove. this is why NBA has moved towards using former coaches/players as commentators nowadays
If your talking about the move at around 4:20, thats not a walk. I like to call it a Eurostep which is basically a lateral step that many international players use such as Ginobili and Tony Parker. Dwyane Wade also uses this a lot and its NOT a travel, its a great move.
i remember this, this was an awesome game
love it when he surprised the crowd
I remember this game like it was yesterday, i was so excited haha
KOBE ,,,,,,Unguardable
6:08
Joel Meyers: "Now Kobe for three.... Okaaaaayyyyyy...."
I guess the commentator never seen a euro step before lol
2:23
Black Mamba vs White Mamba
I like how the Celts fans cheer when Kobe makes a bucket......
I love how the bias celtics analyst says thats a walk when kobe took two steps lol true boston colors
I enjoyed watching kobe go off for 45 a night for that 3 yr stretch in 05-07. But i enjoy awtching kobe go for 30 points a night now because he is getting up there in age plus we as a team are exciting to watch lol, I mean come on Pau Gasol, Lamar Odom, Ron Artest. The list goes on.
Go
Lakers.
back to back... without shaq..... yeah lakers i been watching kobe since back in the days.. this just bring backs so much memories watching it with my homies then balling up the next day.. kobe has been killing it ever since am honor to follow this mans career cause i dont remember mj i was to small but bottom line is.... kobe to me will end up being the best player ever... thats tight
every1 is like awwing kobe when he makes a play wow.
Wow..... GOAT with ni doubt
34 years old now still dunking like back then
No walk there my friend open your eyes
I was there that night wish I could go back! :(
Everybody hates on Kobe all the time, but when he's outplaying the opponent, the whole road team will start cheering him. I'm not saying he's the best right now, but you've gotta damn respect him for his game and for his accomplishments.
R.I.P.
kobe bryant is truly the best ever
love the reaction after the dunk lmao
Love how the uploaded showed the Celtics comments on Gerald Green becoming a Kobe player.
Not all about athleticism Kobe is who he is because of how hard he works on his game.
MTOAT - Most Talented Of All Time
great game
THIS is when Kobe Bryant was the most feared player in the league. What jordan was doing to the league in the 90's, Kobe was doing in the 00's. I mean just watch the way he shoots it, its unbelievable and i truly think that Kobe was a far better SHOOTER than Michael. I could just watch him shoot all dat, in fact id rather watch Kobe MISS than watch most players make buckets in the league
@zubman1011 the fact that the commentators couldn't even comprehend the move made it that much better haha
How is that a walk lmao
he dose make some tough shots.....and makes me sick....Koooobe.
Amazing, shades of Michael Jordan all over again. You can tell he Got in a groove when he started knocking down jump shots over defenders and touching only the bottom of the net. SPECTACULR and who else can electrify the crown like him besides of course M.J. Albeit that it appears that their is now another fellow in the Chicago uniform that seems to be heading to that calibur, magnitude and electrying talent & skills in Derrick Rose.
the best player in the game today
how times flies. its 7 years ago
B-E-A-S-T. Haters can doubt all they want, he's STILL got it. #BLACKMAMBAMVP
GO LA
GO KOBE
!!!!!!!!!
@BlackoutRapper so how did you like game 1?
battle between two of the greatests - Kobe vs Scalabrine
4:03 says it all. Pause it. Not only does it capture the vibe of the Boston players lol. But also...Kobe saying, Deez nuts.
thats scary, his game is scary, u have to have courage to say u can guard him
Kobe prime>lebron prime
That's why he gets paid. Making a hoop is hard ass fuck..his determination surpasses by far any other player..
Lol the way he said it "it's a walk" bothers me so much. I don't know why. and we all know it's not a walk
Look how enthusiastic these announcers are about Kobe LOL
Damn that was NOT a walk on Kobe at 4:23. It was a Euro step for a left handed player. Right handed players usually go right to left on that move but Kobe went left to right. :)
@RotzakBock thanks :D
Casual commentator”what a walk”😂
@janchin When'd they say that?
Homie said a "super leap". Lol, what is Kobe, the Incredible Hulk? Haha
deep down inside celtic fans love kobe lol lakers champs 2010
That first no looks pass tho
I love how Tommy Heinsohn tried to call Kobe for a walk at 4:16. Pure hate on a nice move 😂😂
This video missed the part when the BOSTON crowd chanted M-V-P for Kobe Bryant. That is something that is unheard of. That would be like Cavaliers fans chanting MVP for LeBron.
thats why he's kobe bryant
@unioncity absolutely
did yall see how many people were wearing lakers jerseys?! wow.
you would never see more than 5 people wearing a celtics jersey at a lakers game
with that i don't mean that holding many records automatically makes you a better player.. it's an example i used to prove that he's the most complete player in the history of the game..
he's calling it a walk because we scored with ease
Its funny how when Kobe does a "walk" when he actually takes 2 steps but when Lebron takes 3 steps, i never hear announcers call it
does anyone know what year this game was?
