Lovely units such a wonderful Noise from my childhood. I’d lovely to get a ride on this set but I admit I would be disappointed if I got the 4th coach that is positively modern by the standards of the original carriages 😂
My mum used to put me on these up to Charing Cross from Tunbridge Wells in the 70's to see my dad for the weekend. One day I got confused and got off at Waterloo East, leading to mass panic and the Transport Police looking for a lost scrawny 7 year old. A different time.
