  • Bought this tractor and sulky about a month ago. Tractor Did not have an I.D tag when i bought it. My best guess is that it is a 917. 575139 or 917.575142 model D.B but i can't say for sure.
It has reverse speed changer and differential lock.

I just got one of these with several attachments for free from a relative. I swapped out the engine for a newer 3 Horse Briggs and Stratton, the thing runs and operates great. I have also watched hours of these videos and have never seen one with the features yours has. I have no reverse or diff lock and it only has one speed.
If you still have this tractor could you post a video with extreme close ups of how all of that is attached and where?
You must have one very rare model.

      Thanks Phil!
Ya I can probably make a more in depth video of it.
Ya David Bradley's with reverse and speed changer usually costed more (and) or was add on option back in the day so yes me finding a machine that is complete and running with these options pretty rare.

Hey I have a large collection of DB's , implements and literature about them. Your trans is from 63 to 67 to have a dif lock the engine is a Briggs model 8 5hp that was used 54 to 56 on a special 5 models in the early 60's it should have a 6hp Wisconsin engine on it . They were forced out by rider garden tractors 1967 was the last year of production of the 2 wheel tractors for Sears. I'll try to post videos of mine soon.
