TSP used to be an ingredient in Laundry detergent in the 1970s. that is why those detergents were so much more effective than the current ones. Use a little bit of TSP in your laundry and your clothes will be much cleaner, whites and light colors will be much brighter.
I think you will be surprised at the difference it makes .
Right on. TSP (Phosphate version) has many uses. It works real well for cleaning the stains off patio or vinyl doors...or the stains off the plastic in coolers. Spray some on, and scrub with a blue kitchen pad and the stains come right off. Also work well as a laundry booster for whites and very soiled clothes.

Exactly what I needed. Just starting on a 125-year-old boarding house. A contractor recommended the TSP, but not a specific process. Seems like using while the water is hot is a key component.

Great cleaning tip. I used to use Formby's wood gunk cleaner, but it's not made any longer. Removed the gunk without damaging the finish. Very effective. Looking forward to a new build series starting!
P.S. You look scholarly in your safety glasses, but you're a nurse, so you're used to scholarly.

Also if you have a regular room fan and dirt and grime collects all-over, TSP 4 tbs and hot water, used sponge grease comes.off like magic. Better than grease remover, awesome product.

Hi Nassrin, thanks for the video. Curious if it is necessary to sand the cabinets after cleaning them, or if you could just TSP clean them and then paint?

Wonderful video, I need to do this for cabinets that are 30+ years old in the kitchen. BTW how did you learn so many great tips? I'll most likely have to strip the varnish off to match the new cabinets.

I ended up buying new ones because those were too messed up but I’m still planning on doing a video on painting them with the sprayer versus a brush
the oils you cook with that stick to the cabinets shows what is in your arteries. Research and Choose the best oils.

@@TOMVUTHEPIMP I know what it is, I know what chinese cabs cost and I know what my labor worth. Every market is different. The market I'm in labor is high. There is a lot of work to take them off the walls without damaging them, move them to a spray room and cleaning them up. It is never none here but like I said every market area is different.
