We are in bullhead city, 35,000 people had no power for approximately 24hrs. It is 109 degrees Fahrenheit
Happened in 2009 in Sydney, Australia it was blanketing my town I am 2-3 hours away from the city. Never forget that day.
I saw it coming out my from window. Half of the sky was blue and the other brown. I ran to get my phone and came back and it was totally brown outside
Yeah, that’s happening in my neighborhood too………, every time I turn around………..
Are they sure that wasn't the ROAD RUNNER?
The pharoahs curse
im in arizona in peoria az and i dident see shit and was out side working and pool sparkling clean still
EITHER YOU MISSED IT, OR THIS CLIP WAS MADE WITH CGI.
@@III............ may been cus I wasn't in the south end I'm on the west side not south
We are in bullhead city and have been without power for 18 hrs. It’s 109 currently 🥵
@@jenniferspisak cus I'm on west side reson y I didn't see shit cus storm was on the south side
South got it worse. We got wind from the north that knocked down a tree (roots hadn't set deep yet) but only heard one fairly close lightning strike. Thought it was going to be a lot worse from the radar predictions, but it fizzled out before we got the main beast.
Wow... something from the movie Mummy.
Believe it or not it happens often south of Phoenix.
What a day!!!! What a lovely day!!!!
Mad max !
It's called a haboob.
Yes❤
This is some biblical stuff right here
It's called a haboob. We've been getting them for years! Phoenix is surrounded by desert
Looks like a movie scene
Noting like extreme heat and dust storms here in Glendale Arizona noting like they were back in the 1990s when we had farm land gotta love our 119 degree temperatures
Nothing*
Is this normal in Arizona?
There was that big one about a decade back. Didn't have scorpions around much before that one literally dropped them into the area. fun times.
I was in front of it, hauling A** on my horse hedalgo, Let ER buck
😅 Reminds us of a movie we once saw. Cool😉
Would've been helpful news reporting to reveal what city or cities were affected. (So, I don't move there.)
She said it’s Southeast Arizona, and it even mentioned it in the video. What else do you need?
Its actually in Tucson, AZ that’s in Southeastern AZ they were mentioning
@@chasebrogamer Thanks Chase for your helpful answer. (Unlike acp.)
AZ is a relatively large State geographically speaking. Unlike Rhode Island or Delaware, for example. So, the lazy reporter just saying 'Southeast AZ' doesn't pinpoint the area of this sandstorm. I requested a name of the nearby city (or cities affected), which were never mentioned in this video. Your reply answered that. Thank you again.
Please don’t even come to Arizona we’re full it’s horrible here
Typically the southern areas past South Mountain get hit harder with wind. In Metro Phoenix, Scottsdale and the West side seemed to get more rain and wind. In north central we have relatives who say they often see rain clouds all around but where they are gets maybe a drizzle. Must have Rain Guard there. 😉
That's scary looking
Nothing new been going on for centuries...we lived there people would bring in vehicles for dad to fix paint blown off one side and glass blasted
Wow that moves fast
I was in a windstorm, pretty crazy, deadly if a piece of metal or something hits you in the neck etc

Hmmm Where have we seen this before? Man if only we could remember what causes such events...
During the Dust Bowl Era in the 1930s. I understand it also happens a lot in the Middle East.
