SKAAR, played now in the MCU by actor Wil Deusner, was revealed in the final scene of She-Hulk's finale episode, finally beginning to explain why Hulk left Earth on the Sakaar courier craft in the first episode. The KEVIN robot even did this despite Jen's wishes, meaning the MCU could have "recalculated" a different path to the same intended goal of a Hulk movie -- either Planet Hulk or World War Hulk. But Erik Voss explains a few overlooked details about Skaar in this scene that could suggest he's coming even sooner, like in the Fantastic Four movie!

Skaar doesn't look sad at all. That's 100% the look of an annoyed rebellious teen, whom was forced out of his "comfort zone" to go live with his father whom hasn't been around for his entire life.
I think it's safe to say that Bruce wanted Skaar to meet his family, which is probably very important to him as a father. This inclusion in the finale may seem trivial now, but knowing that Marvel likes to play the long game, Skaar's connection to his family will probably be very important later 🧐

I didn’t think Skaar looked sad or angry, I thought he looked uncomfortable or unsure. He’s on another planet meeting people he’s never met & being told it’s his family. That’s gotta be weird!

Looking forward to more footage of Skaar, not because I'm invested, but because that 1 second shot is now burned into my brain.
The haircut is quite easily explained by real world history... Half-moon shaved with a pulled back topknot is a Warrior's Cut, like that of samurai and other cultures in far removed times. There was even something kinda similar in more recent history among some native American tribes, like my forbears the Cherokee.

Yeah I'm surprised the lack of thought on Eric's part for this, there are multiple real world culture's that use this kind of hair style.
Very much so... that cut means that an opponent can't grab your hair from the front for an attack, it's tied up in the back for the same reason, and there's enough hair on top to reduce the severity of a scalp wound.

Skaar's haircut isn't weird it is the hair of a Warrior or a Monk; Look up "Tonsure". Shaving your hair is symoblic of removing your pride, it is about humility. Tonsure is practiced by Buddhist, Catholic, Shaolin and Tibetan Monks. Both Native American Warriors and Samarai had hair like that too.
they mean "weird" as in completely different from his original hair in the comics. They're not trying to be disrespectful.
Also given your examples, that hairstyle doesn't suit a Hulk, beings which are empowered by rage and anger lol.

Sakaar as a planet exists through wormholes. Remember in ragnarok Thor and Loki left at the same time but Loki was on sakaar for weeks before Thor. Sakaar is probably 16/17
Voss explained that, in the comics Skarr grew ridiculously and unusually fast. So they might use that for an explanation.
I think who ever is leading an uprising on Sakaar sent for Hulk so he can get his son away who’s emotional over his mothers recent death

Under different circumstances, I would have been really excited to see a Skaar reveal. But they've ruined the Hulk character so thoroughly in the MCU that I simply can't see this version being the protagonist of Planet Hulk or World War Hulk, or being the father of Skaar. The Hulk has always been one of my favorite Marvel characters, but it's hard to imagine any follow-up to that reveal being any good or making any sense.

I enjoyed the movie too, It was a different approach to other mcu films. They took a big risk, but I think it worked out fine. Yeah there’s mixed reactions to the movie, but I feel like it’s one of those movies that will age really well.

I love that Skaar is now introduced in MCU it’s the direction Hulk needed to also there was theories when Hulk went off world again how that part of the story will be played & obviously the main was we would get that in a Hulk film when Marvel get back the rights which might be next year, anyway it was theorised that the Grandmaster might force Hulk to fight leading to his WW Hulk arc but what if now Grandmaster calls up Skaar then Hulk gets mega pissed off with how it all goes down introducing World Breaker Hulk to cleaning up the mess or you know in his way literally destroying everything in his path 👍

Just throwing it out there, I think a "Team Hulk" movie would be beyond awesome! Arrange a team of super strong MCU baddies and then have a big bad the Hulks have to use their intelligence to defeat instead of smashing. In the sequel, something reverts Bruce to savage Hulk and the others, maybe with the MCU Fantastic four in tow, have to determine how to change him back.
Hell nah,we need a solo Hulk movie that focuses on the Hulk himself. Not some team up movie.

The Haircut: Skaar's haircut reminds me of a samurai haircut, the forehead shaved, the hair long in the back... And the shadow people reminded me a bit of the samurai when I read the comic.

They weren't tattoos that Hulk had during Thor Ragnarok, they were only painted on for fights. I think the painted markings washed off in the bath Hulk walked out of and flashed his zucchini at Thor
