Thank you for counting it out and making it so understandable. In other tutorials, I can never tell if they want 8 blocks total or 8 more blocks added but you made sure we could tell. This is especially helpful to me because it is difficult for me to follow instructions that don't let me know every detail, so thank you again.
And yet I still got confused XD
IMPORTANT CHANGE:
Mobs NO LONGER pathfind over buttons, use open trapdoors instead.
@Willham
Trapdoors when you place them are closed by default. When you interact with them they are open and in line with the wall. I meant the latter.
@DirtBikeFan which version? I’m on bedrock
I don't use button or trapdoor, its still work

I never comment on videos but this is the best Farm i have ever used on mine craft, typically they always have a low spawn rate, i did make one change, which was i used trap doors instead of buttons, the date is. March 3 23, version 1.19.6, also for anyone wondering I’m on Xbox series x bedrock edition. Thank you!

Great video, short and gets to the point. Only suggestion is to make the tube going down out of glass so spiders can’t climb it (I think)
Just tried It, I dunno how much more eficcient it gets but i covered the tube with stone (any not traslucid/transparente block) so the light going from outside doesn't avoid the mobs from spawning.
I think light can get in that way though. I dont think glass stops spiders from climbing it, but even if they do, a lot of spiders have fallen to their deaths in my cobblestone mob grinder.
@@informedboing7831 Tinted Glass could also work.
I've built three of these in various worlds on Minecraft Bedrock PC. The first two worked well enough (the first one built with the mob grinder at ground level even and still got a decent drop rate; the second I built a hundred blocks into the air). The third produced nothing, despite also being built well above Y=190. I think the biome in which you build it makes a difference - the first two were in Plains, the third over Cold Ocean. Diagnostically, my next step is to try a different biome in the third world. Not looking forward to the process though - I spent an entire weekend building and then trying to repair that farm...couldn't tell you how many stone pickaxes I busted in the process...
Thanks man !!
This is such a good mug farm I’ve gotten so much already
i think instead of using lots of blocks for slabs for the roof you could use leaves or torches

I think leaves dont work cause leaves might let some light in
Ah, the classic. I remember seeing one of these way back on pocket edition, my friend kept it right next to their nether reactors
Thanks great video helped a lot
Torches also work for spawnproofing the roof
Only 2ish mobs spawn for me
Male sure you place the torches correctly. Will be easier in 1.18 and upwards.
Works great on bedrock 1.19.51.
Things to note, your roof MUST have both the solid blocks and slabs for low light levels.
Must be built high to prevent mob spawns on sea level.
Adding more layers is just repeating the same level step but on the current layer the slabs are on.
If you aren't getting mob spawns or not spawning fast enough, try rejoining the realm. Mobs respawn anytime a chunk is rendered in and saving and quitting does just that.
If you added on top wouldnt they just die?
@@tylerhilton03 more drops, less exp. You could always use a water stopper layer built in above the “base level” to slow their descent and keeping them from dying instantly but choice is yours.
@@tylerhilton03 Nope, they fall into the water that leads to the chute.

Yeah, but you'd still have to go up otherwise youre going to get drowned spawns.
Thanks for the tutorial its easy to understand
I will make this farm, since your iron farm actually worked
I have tried and all are same not on 100 block but on ground but after 1 hour it's not working 🥺
Build more levels, if they happen to fall in the middle it’ll kill them on impact but it’s pretty negligible and while you don’t get the xp from those very few drops, you still get the items. I made mine 3 levels and it’s ridiculously effective. I had to build under it to expand storage to 8 chests. You can even build an auto sorted underneath the kill platform if you have the nuts. Anyway good build but a bit slow on its own, add levels to your hearts content
how many blocks is a level?
Honestly, I learn more addition from watching FryBry’s videos than my math class 💀

I don't know but I thought you go 23 blocks up to make the the mobs on low health. You build up 23 blocks up and then you build the water way 2 blocks down . Then the mobs will fall 2 blocks less except if they fall of the edges of the spawn platforms. Or am I wrong?
Idk but I feel like 100 blocks is waytoo high
@@sinmatic5951 he does that to maximize the amount of mobs that spawn since there are no other places nearby for them to spawn up there

What type of stone is that and how to bring that much insane amount ?!? Can I make it with cobblestone ?!?

@@bwaen_1404 Apologies if you don't need this info anymore - I realise I'm replying 2 months after your question xD
Place the trap doors around the edges of the platforms and flip them down. This makes it so that you can walk from the platform on to the edge of the trap door, where the hinges would be. The mobs recognise this as a full block and so they think they can walk over the entire block, but since the trap door is flipped down, they fall off the edge and into the water :)

Farm works if anyone is having trouble with the farm follow these
If you build it at an ocean or anywhere, build 4 more layers or platform below for your AFK area and it will work
Buttons and Trapdoors works
Technically it will be 27 blocks tall
3 platforms
Platform 1 The Top is where all mobs spawns
Platform 2 is where they'll fall and where you'll kill them and chest loot collection
Platform 3 is where you can AFK for them to spawn
Can you tell me in detail
This is the fix that ended up working for me - building an afk platform four blocks below my killing platform (mobs land at 193, I am standing on 189). This seems to allow the mobs to actually spawn into the farms.
@Bilal if you built up with ladders, go down them until you are four ladders beneath the blocks your killing platform is. Then put a few blocks with a torch on them for you to wait on. Every few minutes go up and kill the mobs, then go back down to wait
@Bilal under your killing chamber and collection chamber, there must be a AFK Platform.

Can I build more floors because I build it and I don’t really get enough items is like 20 items in 30 minutes
Yes
Let me explain something about this design.
Now there are 324 blocks on the spawn platform that a mob can possible walk on.
Out of that number, there are 260 blocks that the mobs can spawn on.
And the remaining 64 blocks, where the water streams are, is where we want the mobs to walk to.
So 80% of the blocks are where mobs can spawn, while 20% is where we want them to walk to.
This states that in this design, it will take time for the mobs to walk off the trapdoors, so it’s not really the best.
Also, if anybody needs any assistance, please tell me, so I can help you.
