I love how you live in the gray regarding food choices. Organic vs nutrient dense vs wholesome or harmful ingredients. It's never all or nothing with you, but it's rather on a scale. I really appreciate that. I have given up eating healthy because I didn't do it perfectly thinking all was lost anyway, rather than getting some good nutrition over none. You really changed my thinking, Thank you!!!!

      Hi Julissa,
I'll try and make it simple for you.
Best Option for Dry Clusters- Honest Kitchen chicken and oat or beef and oat
Best Options for traditional dry Kibble- Orijen then Acana. Just not the singles for the limited ingredient diet, those were linked with dcm (i read every report)
Best Option for Dehydrated- honest kitchen
wet food- honest kitchen pour overs, orijen and acana canned food.
      extras to feed the pups-
sardines, egg (no need to cook), blue berries, broccoli on occasion, canned pumpkin, oysters, cooked oat bran if u don't have pumpkin.
if u want can also cook lean ground beef 90-93% lean only, 90-93% ground turkey, boneless skinless chicken thighs.
I've read 4 books on feeding dogs and prepare my own balanced raw food meals, occasionally cook, and feed everything I recommended here.
lmk if u have more questions

I'm not exactly sure why some of the comments here are putting Bobby down! He is the first one to consider prices and he is always trying to advise which stores carry better deals for the same items! The fact that he suggests sprouts or organic breads is because that is the truth of it....they are better for you! Would he suggest it if he personally knew everyone's budget...no. But he is speaking to a general wide audience. Please remember he offers choices. My husband and I have lost (within 2 months) almost 50 pounds strictly because of Bobby and his advice. Yes, we did it but his options allowed us to choose which items we could afford and we went with it. We'd never heard of some of the items! Pure love for Bobby!

Another tip: Flower’s bakery. My town is very small, but even we have a flowers bakery. They sell Dave’s killer bread for only $2! If you get there early enough in the morning, they’ll even have the sprouted, which Bobby himself recommended the most! The expiration date is only a couple days after you buy it, which is why it’s so cheap, but if you refrigerate it, you can’t tell a difference! Happy shopping :)

Thomas DeLauer and you Bobby have brought so much to my attention! I realize now, I was raised on foods with high fructose corn syrup, when food got more convenient! When I was little we lived in dairy and farm country in Washington state and all our meat, dairy and produce was fresh! We had our own garden and fruit trees and berries- we were thin, healthy and energetic, played outside all the time! Had healthy snacks and then we moved and times were tough and that’s where we had less healthier food options!

I have ways to save money on keeping food fresh. Yes.....yes I buy frozen berries because when I buy fresh they always go bad. Also I freeze whole organic ginger. I take a hand food grater and just grade the ginger whole with skin. If you have leepy carrots or celery, I put them in a jar fill it up with water. They stay fresh for weeks. If you have leafy celery I keep some of the stem and fill up part way keep leafy out of the water. If I don't use up the tomato paste, chipotles, or sauces freeze up in dollops on a plate. Take them off the plate and put into a bag. I buy the whole chicken to make lunchmeat, free fat from the skin, chicken skin snack, free bone broth, and chicken wings or chicken party parts. Use the whole vegetable or cut a vegetable so you get the most. Thanks for this video......

I have a salad dressing TIP......I like Newman's Italian dressing, but I don't like that it's made with soybean oil, so what I do is carefully pour out as much of the oil as I can without losing the seasonings at the bottom of the bottle. (Obviously, you're going to do this when the oil is separated on top.) Once the oil is poured out, I top it off with Costco's Organic Olive oil. It tastes delicious, and is now much healthier. I know I could make my own, but it doesn't taste the same as Newman's! This way, I get the taste of Newman's without all the crappy oil!

Make your own jam -- and use the Wyman's wild blueberries as the sweetener. You can omit sugar, honey, or even the healthy sweeteners and save more money. The wild blueberries are very sweet by themselves. If you buy frozen cherries and strawberries, you can make a delicious three-berry jam by tossing in the Wyman's wild blueberries and still skip any sweetener. I throw in a tablespoon or two of real lemon juice and half a lemon rind cut up and boil together, plus I syphon off excess juice. Drink the berry juice -- it's delicious, too. Note: it has to be the frozen wild blueberries per se you use to sweeten. Regular and unfrozen blueberries are not as sweet.

Tony the tiger, They’re not Great! Good one! Yes, always good to see healthy foods on a budget. I like ammunition when relatives say to me, you can afford to eat healthy but I can’t. How about the spices you see at Walmart. Do spices have to be organic to be good? Are those really cheap ones any good?

Thank you Bobby for taking this issue to heart. We can't always buy organic or higher end products. Will be looking forward to future videos on this >>> Eating healthy on a budget with the recipe's.

On your grocery halls at the end you can just that it might not be 100% Bobby approved but the best option for the budget. I am starting to make the switches slowly and I want to get to the point where my family and I are eating cleaner but as a family of 5 it can be hard to stay on budget, still get stuff that my kids and husband will eat lol and not waist food.

you mentioned once Dr. Steven Gundry, so it looks like you read his book " the plant paradox"
He seems to have a different opinion on brown rice and whole wheat flour/ bread. He doesn't think it is healthier. He says, the bran in those, causes harm to human digestive system.
What is your opinion on the subject?

I work in an office everyday so I can't make eggs or a big breakfast. I have to eat cereal. I usually eat oatmeal (steel oats), but sometimes I want cold cereal. I have Honey Nut Cheerios. What is a healthier cold cereal to go to rather than this? Love your shows, Bobby!!

actually, I work produce for walmart for the last 13 yrs.. unfortunately u're wrong on the use by date.. u're absolutely right on freezing it. there's a label on the beef boxes when we get it. the grass feed.. sometimes they come in with absolutely no date and we have to guess. I mark down that meat after it's been sitting on the shelf for a week?! steak gets marked down and soon as it starts to turn.. I wouldn't buy that.. js now there's associates that will mark down a new fresh one for themselves. no one knows unless a certain amount of money is marked down and sends a flag..
