I'd like to thank you, Bobby. Last year, I was diagnosed with high cholesterol. I used to weigh 222 pounds, but now I weigh 176 lbs. I basically lost 46 lbs by following your advice. 🙌💢🙌
High cholesterol doesnt mean anything.

i am glad you repeat Bobby Approved items, we have years of bad buying habits so need to hear it over and over.
I love to see your Costco videos, so next time When I go there, I choose wisely my groceries, Thank you for sharing your knowledge and making a huge difference when it comes to health advice
Bobby! Long time fan--4 years now since i started recreating your 3 part meal preps. You started my cooking journey and have been the source for my generation of many happy smiles/bellies. Thank you. I've been experimenting with international foods, in particular Pakistani dishes, and would love to see your take on any of them. It's a whole new world of flavor for me.
Have a great day!
Hi Bobby! Just found your channel last night and watched this video... loved it! My husband and I went to Costco today and bought most of the stuff you suggested, lol! Love the channel too... have been watching a bunch of your videos!! Love how you go into the stores and show/teach about the ingredients!
Thank you for all your good advice regarding what to eat. I am getting your cookbook. I have been buying by your shopping recommendations and from Thrive and feeling better everyday. My inflammation is going away and have more energy. I am gluten free. Switching out garbage food for the best and it is worth the effort.
This was a great video for those like me who get overwhelmed at all of the products cycling through your videos - I'm only one person and I can't buy them all lol. So it's great to go back to basics and see the staples you love!!
I feel like Bobby is the only person who gives so many reccommendations but has a higher standard for his recs than most people have for themselves and their own consumption. Vs promoting junk or novelties for views or money. It really feels like he's giving people the tools to make the best informed choices they can, in a non judgmental way.
I agree!
Yes I have learned a lot and products are great that I have tried
It also feels like he is making suggestions based on pseudoscience

Us lactose intolerant people need a special video with all your fave cheeses and nondairy products ie almond milk and things like that, pretty please 🙏🏾
He already has an almond milk video, I referenced it to try something new. (Malk - unfortunately I couldn't stand it and it was expensive!!)
Yes suggestions for lactose intolerant people or celiac
Great idea!
There are lists of foods online arranged by the amount of lactose present. Generally, with cheeses, hard and aged cheeses are zero or low lactose while “fresh” or soft cheeses are high. For other firms of dairy, the higher the fat content, the lower the lactose. For example, heavy cream has much higher fat content than milk so would contain much less lactose. Each person varies so you might want to look for the charts showing lactose amounts in foods and experiment very slowly to see what your tolerance might be. You probably know a few things you can eat with no or few issues so you can use those as a jumping off place.
Kiya, I have found that oat milk has more substance to it than almond milk and coconut milk. It’s my go-to for me. And yes, aged cheeses have much lower/no lactose so sharp and extra sharp cheeses don’t make my stomach hurt. Parmesans that are aged are great too! My acupuncture gal recommended anything at least 12+ months aged is ok. Hope it helps, just my findings that help me 😊
Omg that's amazing that they're making pili nuts in a healthy way!! The traditional Filipino snacks and baked goods we make with pili nuts are typically laden with sugar. Will definitely look for these!
We love Flavcity! You've gotten us through the pandemic. When we couldn't shop, we just watched you do it! ❤️
For me, it has wonderfully supplemented my Costco delivery m.o. in the time of the virus.
(I've learned that at Costco volume, it works out that the markup is not that onerous vs. supermarket in-person prices.)
I appreciate you so much! I thank God for you and your family. Teaching us to buy healthy foods is priceless. ☺️💥🤸♀️💜
Hi Flavcity! And Brad! I have the Costco Himalayan Salt and just a very light sprinkle on top on food, and I'm good! The Pili Nuts are a good idea for Mothers Day! 🌺 I just put some Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides in my green tea- pretty good! Those Siete chips with the avocado oil in them are the way to go, for me! The tomatoes from Nini are definitely something I will have to try! And I will also miss seeing Baba cook wonderful meals for everyone! Thank goodness that she'll return!! Take care! 💕☮

Hey Bobby, I noticed when you were in the refrigerated section of the milk section, Costco sells the A2 brand of milk with comes from cows that carry the A2 protein unlike milk from the industrial which carries the A1 protein which causes stomach discomfort.
Costco is so overwhelming to me! I appreciate this video. It's so helpful!!
I love the Pili nuts. They melt in your mouth! Almost everything you showed I already have but I am going to pick up the burgers today when I go!
I’m starting the keto diet, but figuring out what products to buy is time consuming! These videos are so helpful!
Wow !! Never knew there were videos on shopping at CostCo. I love having a CC store here in Bristol UK and they are increasing their organic produce all the time. A happy place to shop .
Grass fed and grass finished are two different things grass fed is a continuous feed. of grass grass finished is only for six or eight weeks to put on weight
The best thing I can do is limit my visits to Costco since I always go way over budget when I shop there.
Hahaha you’re not the only one but now I buy with confidence because I’ve been following Bobby’s advice and it’s been a great change for me and my family.
Yes, it's easy to go overboard at Costco, but I LOVE that store. They truly try hard to supply the demand, Costco dose an excellent job.
Same but I started going with a list and sticking to it and it has made all the difference! I also have the app and go off the current deals they have listed. I'll allow myself like one leisurely trip where I just skim through all the aisles and get whatever I want like once every couple months. I'm due for one of those trips when I get paid next week 😉
And definitely don't go when you're hungry!
Same here!

Love your Costco videos. They are so helpful.
Our Costco in Puyallup Washington has Wilcox pasture raised eggs, thanks for reviewing the 100% grass-fed burgers that and the pasture raised eggs is the only reason I got a Costco membership.
I'm near you, didn't know Wilcox made those as they aren't carried anywhere I shop at. How much, and are they good quality?
@@TR47 they have two dozen boxes for $6.98 I think it is so it's a really good price The yolks are really bright orange and the shells are strong so makes me think they're good quality pasture raised eggs. I found them to be on par with vital farms. Certified humane too so I take it they're not cutting the chicken's beaks off while they're alive

Omg, make so many more like this. I just discovered you channel & I'm obsessed.
This video might have been my Costco run today. Thanks Bobby for the video as always.
Just ordered the pili nuts, and subscribed a monthly delivery. So excited to try these.
I would love to see a review of ancient nutrition supplements like collagen and bone broth protein
Love that EVOO!!! We only use Pink himalayan or sea salt in this house. I have to start using almond flour in my cooking and taking collagen too. Baby steps😁❤
I’m doing low carb, not keto with intermittent fasting, but with that, I use Keto foods as a guide. I was in a Costco in NJ, and was shocked, besides all the healthy/keto stuff down the aisles, there was a center island with all keto items/snacks.

Costco also just raised their price on Kirkland pecorino Romano wedge . Still a great price for a great healthy aged cheese.

Costco Almond Flour is a must in my pantry & fridge, for cookies to pizza dough.

With regards to the Kerrygold... often on smaller dairy farms in Ireland they will, if they can, feed the cows silage (preserved grass) during the winter. Cows and cattle are not designed to eat grains and its heartbreaking to see the practice so widespread...
Hi Bluemilk- just wondering if silage is ok and a good “backup” source for the cows or are you saying it’s not a good practice and farmers should NOT use it? I just wasn’t sure by the way you worded your answer. Although feeding grain to cows as a very poor choice was quite clear! Thanks for sharing that information! It sounds like you know someone close to the source!!
@@elliemunn165
Hayage is grass. So it’s good. If you can find Greenfields butter, it’s 100% grassfed since all the cows are fed hayage in the winter. Silage can be all kinds of green matter, not just grasses, and is fermented. However, silage is better than grain by far.
Kerrygold products use milk from cows that only 90% grass-fed - 10 % - soy, barley and wheat - 3% of that is GMO. Kerrygold was sued for product misinformation and they have removed grass-fed label.
Hi Green Blood- In one of his many videos somewhere, Bobby mentioned that Kerrygold was actually 80% grass fed, so not even 90%! Apparently there is a new butter brand offered at Costco from New Zealand (and bonus- it’s under the Kirkland brand) that is 100% grass fed so better quality than Kerrygold at a lesser price. I went to our local Costco near Chicago and they didn’t have it yet so I am still waiting…..anyways, Kerrygold still tastes good and is basically very good quality compared to regular butter so I’ll just be patient 🙂
@@elliemunn165 90% that is official response from Kerrygold. 90% or 80% doesnt make much difference when you consume milk that was produce from GMO feed from cows that sit in barns for months during winter.
One from New Zealand is 95% not 100%.
100% grass-fed is somewhat mesleadinding for New Zealand. Dry grass isn't technically grass-fed.
Winter in new Zealand has freezing months so cows are kept in doors which means they dont have access to fresh grass so they eat supplemental feed
One that Costco sells doesnt say that cows are not fed GMO which means they probably feed them some GMO soy.
Thank you for this video! I need to help my parents since they need a budget for Costco
I just found this channel.
I subscribed and you can bet I'll be binge watching.
Thank you for your content guys!!! Stay safe.
Bobby, please keep reviewing Trader Joe’s. They are slacking on creating new, clean products. Keep them on check!!
Hey, what's the best vegan food for lowering blood pressure? Thanks and love the videos.
I used to live in Pompano. I love watching the videos you film there!
I rarely buy anything processed for my daycare children but now I want to try those chips you showed.
When you read the ingredients list, There is a difference
Between whole corn/whole grain corn and simply...corn. If something is listed as whole corn or has the whole grain, this means it has both the bran and the endogerm so you get nutrients from the grain. If it's simply corn, the it is a refined grain, striped of the bran and endogerm.
kerrygold butter was suggested by bobby in another video and i don’t know if i can eat the regular stuff anymore
You mean the fake stuff
@@Maverick-zy7yu
It’s not fake - it’s just not from grassfed cows. It’s still butter. Fake is margarines and spreads.
I did not see that much difference I use sam's club
@Lizzie Beth For a naive guy who can only use a little at a time, how long does the Kerrygold last in the fridge (with no cheese nearby)? Thank you.
@@FirewindII I usually put it in the freezer actually. It thaws just fine and lasts a lot longer

Thanks Bobby. Great advice, as usual. I find the Grass fed burgers to be flavorless. I have to defrost and season. It's a great price and suitable for meatloaf or stuffed peppers.
I bought your book at our Sam’s club, thanks for all the information.
Thanks for this! But I wish you would post it right away so we had more time to get the special deals.
Watching from my phone I didn't see the link to Pili nuts. I googled it and came up with Pili Hunters. I was checking the ingredients on some of the flavors and noticed my town's name on the packaging. I will be giving them a try. Thank you for mentioning what appears to be an awesome product.
Recently discovered Bobby. He is wonderful. He does all the homework and i do the shopping.
yes Costco is happy place!!! lol, a lot like trader joe's Costco researches their products before putting them on their shelves. i don't go there just for the bulk sizes, i could go anywhere for bulk sizes. It is for quality as well!

Bobby, you by pass another terrific extra virgin olive oil by Costco, the KIRKLAND EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL TOSCANO from Tuscany Italy. What makes it special above the others is the harvest date fall 2020. It's origin is a single source region. Also, in a dark glass bottle to keep it fresh.
Great video Bobby as always. Sad that Baba is going back to Bulgaria.

I'm going to Costco next weekend and I'm going to look for the Pili nuts and the rack of lamb.
Unless I misunderstood, the pili nuts aren’t sold at Costco. They bought them from Thrive Market.
I'm a little late watching this but I am glad I did. It was very informative. Thank you so much for this video.
I am so glad you teach us how to eat healthy. I go into Costco with my little list all the time. And I say, Bobby said it's good for me, so I'm getting it! 😁
The Vital Proteins Collagen is my fav and dissolves instantly in my coffee, unlike others. Reloading soon!

@@lamann2437 What do you mean?
Don’t freeze the Kerigold cheese. I did and when it thawed it crumbled.
Just a heads up on the pink salt. If you have a Dollar Tree in your area, they often sell one pound packages for just a dollar. It is the same product that Wal-Mart sells for about $4.00.
Natural flavors....that’s why the chocolate collagen tastes soooo yummy! 😋😋
I usually follow your advice, but I have to say that the chocolate one is soooo much better then the unflavored one so I’m not so sure I will give it up until the existing ones I purchased are empty.
You didn't mention the Kerry Gold butter rich in beta carotene because it's made from grass fed cows. Also, if you have hunger on a keto diet, you can put a pad of this butter in your coffee in the morning and the cravings will go away. It's the best tasting butter I have ever tried as well.
I will have to try it!

One thing to consider is that the amount of olive oil in the container is so much, that you need to figure out if you are using it soon enough before it turns rancid. The smaller Kirkland olive oil would be the way to go if you aren't using it like you're running a restaurant.
Or if you make your own salad dressings... But even if you only used half of the bottle, that would be the same amount of oil as the smaller bottle for $2.50 less. Maybe find a friend and decant half into a bottle for them?
I only decant a bit at a time into a glass bottle with a pouring spout. The rest stays in a cool, dark cabinet. I've been buying this for years and NEVER had it go rancid.

Great video! I love Costco and FlavCity. I do stay away from organic milk that is ultra pastuerized because of all the processing. I don't believe Trader Joe's organic milk is ultra pastuerized because I can make yogurt with it. My favorite milk is from local farmers with A2 cows.
What kind of milk should you be using to turn it into yogurt??
@@christopherkilian9763 well, you can use an ultra pastuerized like Fairlane for a cold start yogurt but I use regular grocery store pastuerized homogenized milk. I have used Trader Joe's organic because it's not ultra pastuerized using the boil method and it won't flop like other ultra pasturized does using the boil method.
I'm so disappointed that my Costco doesn't carry grass fed beef of any kind. Otherwise I love the variety of healthy choices. Thanks for all the pointers.
yes i saw your video and bought it and the new salt you mention👌🏼
Learned so much thank you!,
A note on eggs: The terms free-range and pasture raised are not necessarily an indication of quality. I've had eggs labeled pasture raised (Handsome Farms) that were thin-shelled, pale yolk crap and others labeled free range (Nellie's) that were amazing, with thick shells and rich, orange yolks. Unfortunately, the only way to tell is to buy a carton for testing or crack one open in the store.
@TR47: It's about the treatment of the birds.
