Around 15 years later: I hate 02(and more so on the sequels) for being only other anime-style fictional work(at least outside mundane ones) that got similar treatment to current seasons of Pokemon anime

Do you know what's the saddest thing? The directors admitted that *THEY DID THE MOVIE IN BASE OF THE TRAILERS* and not watching each movie.
When you guys get asking "why is parody dead?", think about this: A studio gave them 20 million for a script that they wrote watching 360p trailers on the 2008 CZcams.

But I'd rather they only do it with Anna Faris, Regina Hall, the Wayans brothers, etc. Marlon Wayans did say he might go back and reboot the franchise since the Weinsteins are no longer owning the rights. So, either they come back and make a new R rated Scary Movie or let it rest.

Note: The writers of this movie Did not write any of the scary movies (hence scary movie is actually funny) The reason there credited is because they made a small draft for a simular movie to scary movie but the script was so bad that the waynes brothers who made the first two bought the right to their script because it was so bad, so they bought it so it couldn't be made

I remember when i watched this movie for the first time. I was like 13 or 14, and my mom and i went to the theater totally oblivious of just how bad it would be. It was very awkward when the dirty references came up. However, since we had such a good time talking trash about how bad it was on the way home, It has a place in my happy memories.

This movie, which I didnt know the name of for years, actually gave me nightmares because of the Alvin and the Chipmunks scene. Seeing them all rabied and shit was terrifying as a kid, and how they ate her spine. It had fucked me up good. Still getting chills lowkey 😂😂

Wow, I didn't even know I watched this as a kid. The ONLY thing that was vaguely familiar was Alvin and the Chipmunks with bloodshot eyes, ripping out the spine of someone.
Fun fact. When you said how they didn’t even now how parodies worked and they make no sense. Apparently there was a rumored where the directors of disaster movies and the others didn’t even watch the movies and just looked at production photos and told the crew to “make it look like that”

I'm watching this after going down a waterslide, realizing my butt is exposed, hurting my arms on thebunpa while tryingto protect my bum, hearing the little kids behind me screaming and realizing this heading towards me, rolling over to belly, having a hard impact on the ground, and almost drowning after getting stampeded in the water by at least 6 to 7 kids.

The directors of Disaster Movie did not write Scary Movie at all, the only reason they are credited was because they had write a film with a similar premise, so the studio bought their script to avoid confusion, literally nothing they wrote made it into the final script of Scary Movie, and the reason they can make movies is because one of the directors dad has some sway in Hollywood

When this came out on DVD I was working in a video store. I remember sighing deeply as I stocked copies of it.

I was 50-50 on whether or not I'd even seen this film before, but I must have because I definitely remember the Juno character, the mad princess and the crackhead chipmunks (also the "I'm fucking Matt Damon" song, though idk if this was a parody of that or is the actual song). It was all such a blurry mess I couldn't tell if it was familiar or not...certainly forgettable though.

Age of Ultron was kidna good according to me. I didn't like the relationship between Bruce and Nat and I didn't like that they killed off Pietro, but Wandas entrance to the MCU was great and Vision was also introduced in a good way.

Dear God I forgot that I've watched baby genius before. As a child it wasn't that bad, but after I rediscovered it on a streaming app I don't like it one bit and I wonder how I managed to watch the entire film when I was younger.

I remember watching this movie as a kid and being traumatized and my sisters taunting me and replaying the parts that I screamed and looked away from until I cried. Mind you I watched this about the age of about 8 and under.
I like to call it "Pop Culture References: The Movie."
More like "Pop Culture References: The Fourth Movie" as all of Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer's movies are basically that.
At least the title of the film is not misleading

I love the Scary Movie series, Meet the Spartans, and Vampires Sucks. Some jokes were flat, but they were watchable and fun.

I remember seeing bits and pieces of this movie as a kid, forgot about it for years, and swore it was a fever dream I had all up until like three years back. I need to go watch it just to see if it really is _that_ bad.
