Many people don't realize it, but 'fat back', or 'salt pork', terms used by my parents and grandparents, was a common staple food up until the late 80's or so.
People need to stop and think about the fact that freezers, commercial feeds of any kind, have only been in our cultures and societies less than a 100 yrs.
So since man was on the earth, they managed to keep and perservetheir animals.

@@bakersgreenacres I was always enjoying the rumble. You have to be some type of mathematician or teacher to understand the algorithms. Perhaps an Apple phone for myself. As that machine might have a better quality control. Voice recognition software. Every time I go on rumble or some other platform. The video keeps cutting. But it never happens on a CZcams. I was struggling to find words or phrases of word's. To complete the sentence of what I had for supper. Changing the subject. The man-slave. People walk on old carpeting on the floor. And the bottom of the heel was twisting. The hill started to bleed. I had the green stuff with me. !. I think the magic word is. Vitamin # K. In the green stuff. And it started to congeal.
