    Does this trick go with oxoacids of phosphorous or
    With of sulphur?
    As in many compounds of phosphorous like H3PO4 it doesn't work.

    in 1st example (h2s2o8) oxygen state for Sulphur was taken as 6 but its 16 and 6a, so for all P block elements 3a,4a,5a,6a,7a should be taken? then what about the d block element?? is this trick applicable for d block elements also? pls helppppppppppppppppppppp
