I like that you are just a regular dude that makes real videos. Not complicated but interesting and informative. that sandwich looks good. 🌬️💨💨
I appreciate that!
Tug....you said you were getting old? You are still a young man. Wait till you get 72 years old then you can say you are getting old. Great videos Bro.
Thanks man! Never thought I’d even make it this far
We have our surf fishing equipment and cart in storage in the panhandle where we just bought a house. My husband introduced me to surf fishing during our 20th anniversary trip to Gulf Breeze and I am HOOKED! (Please excuse the obvious pun). Once we are there, the quest for a boat (or boats if you ask the husband) begins! Love your videos, your authenticity, and of course the RECIPES! Keep em coming, Tug!
Listen 2 boats is standard in Florida! Possibly 3 😁
They are called Green Horn
Worms. You can picked them off at night when they come out, you can also cover or wrap your tomatoes with a white clear cloth, amazon, pin it with clothes pins. Horn worms will eat all of your tomstoes.
Thanks
Forgot you will need a black light to spot them. They are very large and can grow up to 3 to 4 inches long. During the day, they are very hard to spot because they blend in with the color of the leaves.
Hey Ian, I saw your last bow hunt and that was really cool to see, for you all filled that cooler so fast it maid my ears swim. And today it leads to a norther great day of fishing. For 1.5 weeks a go I caught a nice white sand shark in OC Maryland off the beach and it was real good on the Barby. From the old guys that watch you ,we enjoy of what you put out too. The old guys of the Chesapeake Bay.
Shark is on the menu soon!
fyi... you and blue gabe are my boys when it comes to fishing vids. you're chill and both seen like you could be super easy to fish with and have. I hate screaming crazy peeps, just wanna chill and catch fish... poke fun relax and have a great time
and hang with* btw pretty lite right now lol
Thanks buddy
I love your channel. I love the whole family thing and the fishing and the way you cook and love food. Going to give you a little tip on the sailcats. They are good eating but a pain in the ass to clean. Who likes the slime right?. So I found a way to deal with that. When you get back to the ramp, put them in the sand and let the sand stick to the slime. Rub the slime off. Put them back in the cooler when you get them home to the cleaning table. No slime baby.
Genius! Thanks
Man , I gotta tell you, I watch the videos with my 84 year old Mother. She loves’em, especially the dogs.
That’s great!
Aloha. We moved from Ohio to the Florida gulf when I was in sixth grade. Went from pond fishing to beach fishing. I was hooked, been fishing ever since. Mostly caught whiting and catfish with an occasional trout. Love whiting!
That is awesome!
I cannot express how much I enjoy the variety of your videos. Thanks for not following the other guys.
My channel is just my life on a GoPro 😁
Get a black light flashlight - the green hornworm glows under it- makes it easy to pick them off the tomato plant. If you’re not Squamish lol - take a few of the worms picked off and blend them in the blender with a little water and pour into a spray bottle and squirt back onto the plant - it will keep the them from returning to the plant.
I love it!
Keep up the good work Tug! Ul be doing it full time in no time.
That's the plan!
Brother you just make me happy. Whiting is an amazing fish and the sammich you constructed looks delicious. Wish I was there tearing up that sammich. Stay safe and keep on keeping on. Love you guys
Glad you enjoyed it
I’ve heard Irish Spring soap works to keep insects off plants. Just cut them in cubes
It's always a good time when the Pompano and Whiting are running.
Good looking sandwich!
Ready for the next video.
Stay safe out there!
Thanks buddy when are you down?
Flying in July 17th through the 23rd. Can't wait!! Krystal and I are doing a Walleye fishing charter this weekend on Lake Erie. I'll send pics of our catch.
I always planted Basil around my tomato plants. My grandpa told me that it makes the tomatoes taste better and that it repels worms and bugs. I never had tomato worms, so I'm thinking that works! As always, great video and thanks for putting out the great content.
Interesting! Thanks buddy
Aloha. Yeah, it’s called companion gardening I think. Both plants benefit. Tomato and basil is a good one.
Awesome video! That sandwich looked delicious. That's great you were able to go fishing with your brother. Your brother has a very nice garden. Looking forward to your next video. Happy Sunday!
Thanks so much!
Plant basil and marigolds around them
Love it
Instead of butter on my bread when toasting I use mayonnaise
It gives it a tangy bite
Yum!
2 things. Provolone cheese is the best on a fish Sammy. My dad puts boiling water in a spray bottle with a couple of tablespoons of Cayenne pepper. Shake it good to dissolve and spray on plants. The bugs hate the heat. Hope that helps. 😊
Great tip
Awesome vid, love the beach fishing. I caught a 26” red last week in Daytona.
That’s awesome! Thanks
I grew up and fished South Padre Island in Texas. We kept all the saltwater cats...ate the Topsails and normal cats were used for crabbing. Not hard to clean and using the deep fryer was quick and easy.
Next video I’ll eat one!
Ian one gardening channel I follow that doesn’t use pesticides just pick them off. Squash them. Go out at night with a UV light you can see them. Awesome video by the way.👍👍👍
Thanks for the tip! What channel?
@@TugTrashOutdoors deep south Homestead
@@TugTrashOutdoors Ian it might’ve been on pecan Grove. That is the other channel.
My grandson and I are fishing the CCA Star Texas tournament this summer, he is in the Teen Division. We brought in 7 large Gafttop Cats yesterday and cleaned them for supper, they were delicious. Grandson, Bryce in in 3 rd place for the Gafftop division. Going for 1 st place by Sept. 2 nd for the $30,00.00 scholarship. Enjoy all of your videos, great job. Looking forward to the next one. Tight Lines.
That’s awesome! Gonna try
Awesome! Thanks for taking me along!
Any time!
I love whiting. I have to buy them whole and then prepare them here on west coast. Good video. Sandwich looked great.
Thanks for watching!
Great vid, as usual ! Fishing with your brother, priceless!
You got that right!
Ian you should do a video of your brother’s garden that is a nice garden!!!!🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Yes it is!
Dude we surf fishing for whiting on the OBX every fall. And fyi you ace that fish sandwich!! Thanks now I’m hungry 😁🤙🎣🏴☠️🇺🇸
Nice!! I need to visit OBX!
Thanks for bringing us along.
Any time!
If your getting the leaves cut on your tomato plant ,you can use Neem's oil spray on the leaves(organic) Thanks for the video.
Thanks for the tip!
Another great episode as usual Ian have a great day
You too buddy
Yes that sandwich looked perfect! Whiting is my favorite fish to make a sandwich with, and stack em high! lol For the tomato worms I use a black light flashlight and go out at night and just pick them off.
Sounds like fun picking worms!
Gotta love the surf fishing ❤️❤️
Yes we do
Keep checking the tomatoe plants and remove any worms. Heard can put baking powder around bucket, suppose to keep them keep them from getting to plant. Great video love see your videos.
Thank you!
WOW!!! Now thats my kind of sammy, looked killer Tug...Yummm!!!
Yes sir!
Louisiana here…we set out bottle caps full of beer and the worms drink it and die.
They go out partying
❤❤ love your videos awesome content
Thanks
Grow marigolds in the same area as your vegetables it is a natural insect repellent. As for the hornworms a little Dawn dish soap and some water in a sprayer. For insects that go after roots mix diatomaceous earth into your potting soil.
Thanks for the tips!
I caught a 42 inch red at 1 a.m. at the old Ormond by the sea pier, 30 yards out with a full moon!!!
Best red I've ever got!!!❤❤❤❤
I got it on a sand flea
Epic!
Tug,
Use any product that has BT ( bacillus thuringensis) ex: Captain Jacks at Walmart. The bacterium only affects the worm.Follow the directions on spray bottle. Diomatacious earth (DE) will also work but a bit messy because it's a dust.If your brother has kids give them an empty tomato soup can with a little mineral spirits in there and a set of tongs. My grandfather used kerosene and gave me a nickel for everything tomato hornworm I dispatched. The other practice is keep half and let them have half.
Just got back from the Texas coast and going to try the crab knuckle advice next time. Happy trails!
Thank you!
Great video Tug!
Glad you enjoyed it
Love catching some whiting! Super underrated as table fare in my opinion. Great video brother.
Couldn't agree more!
Awesome! Monster Fish Sandwich! LOL. Love your channel, thanks for sharing them
Thanks for watching
Great video Ian! Awesome to see you out fishing with your brother. What a delicious looking fish sandwich! The cheese totally belongs on a fish sandwich, it gives it that creamy flavour. The double layer of fish for sure, but it may have been too much lettuce for me and I love lettuce, lol.
Thanks for sharing!!!
Thanks buddy
Right on… Aloha!
Dang Tug that's lunch , breakfast an dinner. Yum . Time to cook some crappie in Tennessee. Good one guys.
I love me so fried specks(crappie)
Great day w your brother, those are the best, catch or catch nothing…. I loved fishing w my brother
The best
Y’all are living the life down there man! Saltwater living vicariously through you! Oh yeah tell your brother to put some toy snakes in his tomato plants. That will scare off the birds which is most likely what pecked at his maters.
Thanks for the idea!
I don’t like to use chemicals on my plants either but seven dust is the only thing that I found that keeps the tomato worms off my bushes. Another great video!
Thanks buddy
@@TugTrashOutdoors not a problem.
Great Video Tug!!!! Brings back a lot of memories in the Surf in NC with my Dad and Son!
Crazy Steve & "Sweet T" (Teri)
Very cool! 🤙🏽
Great video keep up the great work.
Thanks, will do!
Gafftopsail are very good eating catfish. When we target them in Texas waters we bring a wire basket to let them swim in and it helps to de-slime them and makes em easier to clean.
I’ve heard that!
I’ve eaten catfish lots of times. They’re phenomenal. Every time you catch one I always wonder why you don’t keep it. Anyway, Mr. trash, I love watching your videos for some reason I guess because my father was a big fisherman. I love to watch fishing.
Me too!
Awesome thanks
That's how we spent almost every day during off crew! Brings back memories. Love the videos.
Yes! Thank you!
Right on, thx!
Tomato Horn Worm, at night use a Blacklight flashlight to look for them. They will glow and you pick them off.
I've been there, The whiting look like Corbina here on the west coast with there mouth pointing downward, great tasting fish , we use ghost shrimp or blood worms, Man I swear I could almost taste that Samich, great Job Surf fishing is never boring and worth the effort
And anyone can go out and do what we did! I try to make videos that the average Joe can go do and have fun.
Great video of the fishing with your brother, family is quality time ,awesome cooking but the best part is eating what you cooked, love your down to earth videos.....
Thanks 👍
Heck yeah man, we will be at the beach Thursday-Monday! Gonna try and get in some fish!
Good luck buddy. We are down in the key now
On the tomato worms, do like me and grow tomato plants that don't produce and you don't have to worry about pests
😆
Love what you doing brother
Thank you
Great video! Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for always supporting me
Bonide Captain Jack's Neem Max is a natural neem oil you can spray on the tomatoes i use it to keep my squash and zucchini from the vine bore worms
Thank you
I love fishing with my brother as well great video
The best! Thanks
That sandwich looks fantastic mate, thanks for sharing your experience with us.
Any time!

Another great video big daddy keep them coming!
Y’all’s content is so real. Love it. Keep up the great work!
Thank you! Been a tough trip weather wise. Was really hoping to get out past the reef more
You can plant mums with the tomatoes, but a safe natural treat use neem oil and a little dawn dish detergent in water and spray tops and under bottom of plants as well as soil in pots! Love your videos!
Great video nice to see you fishing with your brother 🤙
Glad you enjoyed
Absolutely love your videos thug trash it doesn't matter what you're doing whether you're hunting or fishing or out on the tub or whatever you're doing with the family or not I enjoy your videos a lot and that fish sandwich looks absolutely delicious a good whiting sandwich or speckled trout fillet sandwich or flounder sandwich just absolutely delicious

My pleasure
Good to see Graham in your vid! Him and I are good friends -i fish/crab mostly south Saint Auggie. Mostly crabbing right now been doing well.
Just subscribed!
Awesome man thanks!
Beautiful morning man! The damage on the tomato was more than likely from a bird. Tomato horn worms eat the leaves and can just be picked off. Nice sandwich. Thanks for sharing brother!
Thanks for the info
That sammich! Bro, that looked good. Great catch of the day
Oh yeah!
Those gaff-top catfish are pretty good table fare. I wasn’t a believer either but tried it once and now I keep them.
I’m gonna try one
Dust the tomato plants with plain flour. You may have to reapply if the rain washes it off. The worms eat the flour and it makes them explode and die.
Exploding worms!
Loved the video ❤
Thank you!!
Daymn... that sandwich looks sooo good! Enjoy....
Thank you
Oh boy that makes those rod holders lives over in steinhatchee, picked up three last scallop season from him best fishing investment ever ! 🎣🎣

BT is an organic caterpillar/worm control. It’s all you need.
Ian we always like your videos
That sammich looks delicious
Good to see Ghram on the video
Glad you enjoyed it
I love all your videos
I really appreciate that
Another great video Tug, your fish sandwich looked amazing. I make one similar to that but use tarter sauce, lettuce, tomato and pepper jack or horseradish cheese. Nothing better then a good fish sandwich. Thanks for sharing.
Sounds great!
