Such a gorgeous sim! I’ve been with XPlane from 10 and recently upgraded from 11 to 12. Once upon a time I had Microsoft and I was really tempted to switch back this time. At the time it was even cheaper than XPlane! But in the end I was put off by the huge install and reported performance issues. Fairly sure I made a good choice…… but then I see vids like yours and think.. “Maaaaaaaaaan?” :) Anyway, this looks like an interesting career addon.
Last thing you want to hear from your pilot. "everything's good to go 9000 is the plan, hopefully that will get us over the terrain, only one way to find out go flying folks. Lets do it"
@@theflyingdad there was a remix sort of dubstep / drum n bass version that I listen to on my way to work almost every day. It really puts me in a good mood
Loving the look of the UI and features of FSCharter. I am seeing big improvements to FSEconomy which I believe has a UI that is overly complicated and not pretty to look at. Used FSEconomy for many years with FSX and Xplane11 and early on with MSFS when it was released but eventually moved away from it for the reasons stated. It worked, but didn’t enjoy it. That being said, I’m looking forward to try FSCharter and follow development. This looks great. Thanks for the video.
I agree on the FSE comment. The last thing you need is fiddly complexity when you just want to get going. The number of times FSEconomy stuffed me around was enough to make me shy away. I think it needs a bit of tweaking, however I did like it and every now and then I go back (while hoping it wouldn't stuff me around again).
Funny that you tested FSCharter. Been thinking about it for a while. I really like FSE. Fairly heavily invested like you. I would really like them to add more airports in FSE. Especially in South Africa many of the airports are missing. This means we can only fly to the same airports most of the time. From what i see on the discord and forum page they don't seem to want to upgrade it either. So i am sitting with the choice to stay or move. Might try FS charter.
Were you using 3rd party airport scenery as the graphics looked really good? I haven't flown around there much but rarely see that amount of detail in regional airports.

Quick question, that GA aircraft taxiing at 10:04 is that FSLTL or Vatsim or?? This client seems quite similar to OnAir, I may have to give this a whirl. How does the payload work with aircraft like the 414 that don't seem to use the default W&B, and use their own EFB weights>

I can confirm that this is not with TC as it’s not allowed on FSCharter. Your flight will invalidate if the plug-in detects any form of time manipulation
@@rotorfib8719 Its not been officially released yet but has been through various 'beta' stages since 2018. Max flies the best part of 24 hours a day however I'm not overly sure at what point he joined.

Wow I started FSCharter, MSFS crashed. Restarted PC and tried again, managed to fly for 20 min having FSCharter connected and then again, complete crash. I never have crashes so I guess it’s not meant to be for me.
Maybe someday when I’m less poor I can have a rig that can run this plus msfs at the same time 😂. But my ideal economy with this game is working in and out of one “base.” Selling the plane out and selling it back to base some how. Just like in real life.
Looks like the developer of this hasn't done his homework. The operating cost of the Beechcraft Baron 58 Twin is $632.23 Australian per hour! So to take this job, you'd be losing money. So given the flight time for this flight, it would cost you $505.78 Australian.
That’s 3.59 longer than my wife can tolerate, so thanks. I wouldn’t know how to balance a book let alone my sound. I’m just an old fool who presses record and hopes for the best.

@@PilotLH How long has this been out? because if you were flying 24 hrs a day it would take you 416.66666 days to get 10 thousand hours.
