Easily press foliage etc. into a soft slab and create your own mould for getting a relief texture into a slab of clay. Super easy, super fast.
Here is the link to my pottery shop where you can buy underglaze, coloured slips and other lovely pottery related things! 😁:

Lovely video on clay relief work.
Most videos I've come across work with plaster or resin.
    Thanks for creating this one!

This is great option to buying a relief mould plus you can add whatever you like. Fantastic! 👍

Hi , thanks for all your so helpfull and "down to earth" videos, you make things look much easier and encourage us Hobby Potters to go ahead , that's great ! I thought you would be happy to learn that "relief" is actually the french term used for the technique you are describing in this video, not much to do with pain and alleviation. Kindly Nicole

I just found your videos and am loving them. I have been trying relief work on air dry clay, and home baking clay, and it has been working out well. I'm going to be starting a ceramics class and this is one project I want to do there. I'm thing of using as my mold, my textured air dry clay and then put the pottery clay on that. I'm hoping it will work!

Do you have to brush it afterwards? Or sponge it?
