- This video is designed to help the new and returning Star Wars Galaxies players in 7 Simple SWG Tips. If you are a little shell shocked and don't know what to do this video will give you some suggestions to get you moving. Some of these are suited only for SWG Legends While some can be used on SWG EMU Basilisk or both. If you are a Star Wars Galaxies Legends player of a SWG Emu player you will want to follow these guides.

Just started playing legends. Still in the space station at the beginning because i obsessively do the piloting missions. The dog fights are so fun.

I'm glad you are playing Vidarr. It's good that you are doing space missions. You will need to have experience in space to advance in some quest lines later on.
I enjoy the smuggler profession and will be putting out a smuggler profession guide very soon. In the meantime I will link a guide when I get to my pc.

@@AdventureGameHotspot No, thank you for making the vid. The game has a learning curve not associated with combat and the likes. So a guide would be useful to get an understanding for where everything/everyone useful is at.

Hey i know im late .. but any tips on space flight controls ? Only thing i found in settings are mouse cursor speed which slows down my cursors overall which is not something i want .. also in 3rd person my camera sits right behind the starship and i cant see shiet .. thanks

Nice man, some more things you can do : make a entertainer and go to the populated citys like mos eisley and go to tge cantina and dance/play music to buff other players most ppl will tip you for the buffs, set up a factory besides harvesters and let them craft and sell them in your own shop or bazaar.
Grab a speeder and go race speak to the racer NPC.
Become a farmer. Do heroic instances like the battle of hoth or the star destroyer. The game is amazing because of its many features and roles to play

I am on the Basilisk forums and noticed the developer saying hes put togther a team of volunteers working on implementing JTL. They posted a picture of them actually operating a ship already.
They are working on it.

0:12 The 1280x1080? stock SD SOE footage?, scarring new players away from SWG ? Please run 1920x1080+ the emulators are now capable of, I understand liability issues / Ban Hammer SOE, Disney, DayBreak, Sony? might be an issue, but please open with HD footage when you can :)

1. Start you carrer as Bounty Hunter.
2. take your Player Jedi missiion from terminal
3. Kill all Jedi you can see
4. Make sure you are a badass and hated BH from the Server
5. Enjoy XD
I miss the whole sandbox professions of doing whatever you wanted to do, legends completely ruined the profession system that gave the game it's reputation, they turned it into any other mmorpg made after 2005 and ruined the sandbox experience for streamlining. But since i no longer possess my discs and the boyscout server owners of SWGemu persist on me giving them proof they made sure to eliminate yet another player as i will never use a shady place such as ebay.
There are not many dics left in circulation and this ensure that SWGemu have no future. They can't expand their playerbase like Legends do.
One thing is covering your asses preventing to be sued by disney, the other is preventing any form of non disc copy is being used as nobody would ever be able to tell otherwise, especially not for an old dead game such as this. You're telling me that if i use a downloaded copy disney is going to sue you ? they couldn't care less what either of us do as a matter of fact.
Their whole boyscout control freakish behavior that the staff of basilisk have ensure i will never play there, not because i can't get discs but because of them and their attitude.
