Can I just fangirl for a moment that the first line of Look of Love is "Jane Austen in the hospital", and here Elizabeth from Pride and Prejudice is constantly being asked to explain? Argh, this album is so good!!
This entire song is excellent, but the groove at 1:53 is particularly sublime. It's great to hear electric piano again, too. I always loved the original Sister Cities for that reason, as good as the Painted Shut version is.
I'm looking for a specific Hop Along song that had something about John in the Bible and "Chicken and..." And something about someone's aunt. Anyone remember that one?
Gold, alone, clinging to a stem Pretty soon, this will be a skeleton Metropolises, before- silent and smoldering Above, the wild giant wailed, "Never will I do that again!" So strange (so strange, so strange) To be shaped by such strange men Elizabeth, explain what the writer meant That God is the one (God is the one, God is the one) who changed (God is the one, God is the one, God is the one who changed) The General- bucktoothed, bright eyed, frothing red Baltimore- you on the floor, me on the edge of the bed We saw him, in one brutal gesture, tear that rabbit open And you turned to me, "Isn't this supposed to be for children?" So strange (so strange, so strange) To be shaped by such strange moments Elizabeth, the train When will I see you again? Will you tell me your mind (tell me your mind, tell me that your mind) has changed? (Tell me your mind, tell me that your mind has changed.) So strange Was I shaped for just this moment? Elizabeth, explain what the writer meant

Yes, definitely the best on the album. 👍
GOD IS THE WHO CHANGED ❤️🖤🖤🖤
The part at 3:17 gives me goosebumps everytime. The different approaches she has singing each sentence is amazing, so much talent.
Will you tell me your mind gets me.
YOU GUYS NEVER CEASE TO AMAZE ME I'M LOSING IT
Damn. I'm in love.

You can really tell the guitarist is the guy from Algernon Cadwallader in the lead part after the first chorus
Also in the part around 2:45
